Perversion for Profit

Postby Graham » 09 Dec 2005, 17:40

In the proud LRR tradition of repurposing my school video projects for updates on slow weeks, we present this. The full version I made for class is over 18-minutes. Season 3 DVD extra? Perhaps.

We even had a video planned, but we couldn't find the props, couldn't get the location, and couldn't get ahold the actors (except Jer, who couldn't get ahold of me, because my cell phone was dead).

If you want a laugh (even though I used the best bits) check out the full "Perversion for Profit" on the Internet Archive. It's so good. And so intolerent. Two great tastes that taste great together.

Enjoy, and beware the homosexuals.

Postby xgollum » 09 Dec 2005, 17:57

that was genius. I can't imagine how much archival crap you had to sit through (was that just two 'educational' films or more.

I was just waitng for it to all come back down to those damn commies. I wasn't disappointed.

Favorite part: That pervy looking homosexual. That was hysterical.

Was there anything in the original (I can't watch it at work) about how the blacks or the jews are ruining the country? It would seem fitting.

I say yay for the whole thing for the DVD extras, and I'd love to see you guys play around with it some more, maybe give it a LLR labs voice over in parts or something.

Great job Graham. You sure do some cool stuff for your video assignments.

OH MY GOD, SAVE ME, PLEASE SAVE ME FROM THESE TWISTED, TORMENTED MINDS!

Hah, this is fucking great, in it's own way.

And I've seen that 'Beware of the Homosexual' one, it's absolutely hysterical. Has anybody got a link to it?

...I...*spluter*...er...*coff*...it's...uh....

Holy GOD, the poor children of the fifties...

I'm interested to know how one can catch a chill from swimming during the first few days of menstruation. I mean...there are HYGENIC factors to consider, especially as the tampon didn't seem to have a presence (mommy, there's blood in the water! *eeewwwwww*)...but catching a cold because your uterus lining is dissolving? Does having your period make the air around you colder or something?

Well..I laughed...I recoiled in horror...all in all, good film Graham!

Isn't it just great that half of those movies contradict the other half? And face it, there's only one way to surmount such a contradiction... blame the Communists! 'Cause after all, what good have they done?

Good compilation... must've taken you a while to make, with liquefied caffeine as your only friend.

I'd have to say my favourite bit was right at the end: "Hello there, I'm unnatural. Hello there, I'm perverted. Hello there, I'm evil. I'm George Putnam (outstanding news reporter)." ... as if that was a good thing.

Woah... okay, didn't we just have a movie a few weeks ago where Kathleen was ranting about female comedians concentrating on 'that' part of the body? I think every here knows all they want to about that subject... And yes, the hygenic aspects are the reason why one wouldn't go swimming...

I did love the bit at the end, though... "I'm perverted. I'm evil." Great ending, but not something I would watch again...

I am so glad you put this up on this website, Graham. It shockingly yet smartly teaches us the evils of perversion and homosexuality. We all still should realize that the Soviets are secretly insidiously perverting our youth. This is by far one of the most necessary and enlightening films of our time.
However, I was perfectly offended when you made George Putnam say "I'm unnatural. I'm perverted." How could you disgrace such a benevolent authority? For that, my level of respect has gone down for you.
But overall, I'm glad you found this educational film so that one day our youth will be a clean generation, fit to raise authority-respecting families and good christian children.

It's so small, you might need a microscope to see it!

This one had a couple of good laughs. I'm not a huge fan of the old 50's footage videos, but I did chuckle quite a few times.
