Beardless Paul is awesome. With the glasses he kind of looked like Buddy Holly. More so than Gary Busey at least. Now if we could just have beardless Graham back, we'd have some well kempt, respectable looking people in charge around here.

It's been a while since we had a good musical video.

That was BRILLIANT, you guys! :D

Paul and the crew's constant joking in the podcasts about what Paul would look like without a beard led me to believe that there would be something awesomely horrible under there... like three extra eyes, or just a gaping chasm like some undead thing.

Am I misremembering, or did Paul set the "amount he would have to be paid to shave his beard" at like 1,000 or 5,000 last year? That was my first introduction to the site, and I remembered thinking Paul was "too beard-y."

After all that build-up, it would have been a big-enough surprise if Paul turned out to be normal-looking. But no, he had to top it off by looking awesome! I'm wondering how long it takes to regrow the beard... it would be cool to have established characters with both looks. I think the "gallery of beards" on desertbus.org showcases how much effect these variations could have.

I believe last year Paul set the challenge donation amount at $500 which is why hung on to my economic stimulus check all year. I was sure I was going to get him shaved this time but little did I know that Paul had beat me to it!

He set it to a single donation of $5000. It's on the Wiki I believe.

Hmm... I think this song has potential...
Dance Dance Revolution?
Guitar version for guitar hero?
Karaoke version?
Singstar?

Consider this signature a museum piece, since I love it and am unlikely to change it ever.

Also watched it again, because I'm listening to the podcast for this vid. I had no idea that Matt wrote the whole thing! WTG, filking skills!

So I just watched it again as well, and I realized that Morgan actually is saying "We're tired as fuck."

...Thought I would point that out if it hasn't been said in the last 12 pages.

Would you say "swear" after all they'd just been through? Just chalk it up to good acting.

Sorry for the slight threadnomancy here, but I'd just like to add to the cries of people saying this was great, not only because of the singing (especially from Tally) but also because I now have some idea what Desert Bus actually is, and am looking forward to seeing the next one, when and if it happens (although the time difference may be a slight barrier...)

Something that goes 24 hours a day does not have a time barrier.

Once again, I think my ignorance of this has been proven...
Thanks ;)

Hey, I'd like to know if there's any way we could get an MP3 of this? It'd be sweet to make a CD of LRR songs, and I could probably download the videos that weren't on the escapist and just rip the songs from the files, but I'd run into a bit of trouble on the escapist ones...

Hopefully Kroze or Graham will notice and put it up for a bit.
