Yikes, my sympathies Siobhan.

At least you have a number of plows. The running joke in Victoria is we've got one plow. This helps explain why certain roads never seem to get plowed.

They have plows and such. I would guess that there isn't that much of a rush to get roads completely clear as there isn't school on Monday and very few people will be rushing downtown to work this week. Not to mention that plow drivers are most likely getting 30 bucks an hour base, then add overtime and graveyard shift work, they're probably getting nearly 80 or 90 bucks an hour for driving in the snow. Yay union work!

My bottom eyelash froze to my scarf, and all my hair turned into frozen hairsciles. And those dots on my eyelashes are indeed frost. It was total lame. And it's not even the coldest it's been. THUG. My kitty ears were frozen at the tips, which you can't see here.
Baaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmm
That is suffering for art's sake.

Fuck it, I'm buying one before my next night shift. This year feels way worse than last year for some reason.
Consider this signature a museum piece, since I love it and am unlikely to change it ever.

I also am a constant wearer of scarves. It's just too cold otherwise. Also, the cloud cover is clearing a bit here, and the sun is striping through the breaks in the clouds onto the snowy trees. It is quite pretty.
Oh wait, it's gone again.

It's been insanely cold here. To the point of -10 at night. There ice on the inside of my windows. The pipes are freezing. There's snow up to my thighs. My brother went out to shovel off the roof and he came in with icicles in his hair. It was ridiculous. But now we can climb on the roof and jump off so no one's complaining.
