And have you seen her without her hair or eyelashes? It's like looking into the face of terror incarnate.

EDIT: Sadly, Yzma's mama, Eartha Kitt, passed away during the Christmas season. We must all "Pull the Lever" in honor of her.

I was so in the mood for Newsies the other day, I ended up watching it on youtube. Seize the Day and King of New York are my top two favorite songs (World Will Know rounds out my top three) from this movie.

I dig Ursula. I thought she was cool when I was little.

I can't decide on just one between them, but since they're collectively 'the bad guy' in Robin Hood, I'd say my favorite is/are Prince John, The Sheriff of Nottingham and Sir Hiss.

I'm gonna have to go with Scar as one of my favorites, and even though it isn't a Disney movie (but most people think it is) I also thought Rasputin from Anastasia was good and funny

Hard to narrow it down to just one, but Scar tops my list for the previously mentioned success in actually offing one of his targets, as well as being incredibly sinister, having great lines, and, possibly the most important of all, he has a good villain song, Be Prepared.

Ursula gets honors for another amazing villainous ballad.
I tend to be overly apologetic. Sorry about that.

I've tried thinking about this but to me Disney doesn't have any good villains (or what I'd call villians) because of how damagingly cutsey Disney can be. It must be said I did like the winged demon from Fantasia that summoned all the skeletons from the village at the base of his mountain, but he wasn't a villain.

You haven't met Ash have you?

She's probably more villainous than Maleficent, but as if not more attractive. Thus proving that evil has the capacity to be attractive and even "cutesy".

I think that the contrast between the darkness of the villain and the "cutsey" of the movie is what magnifies the villain's evilness, making them seem so much worse in comparison to the rest of the world.
Clearly they can't hold their own against villains such as Claudius, Lady MacBeth, Caliban, Shylock, Iago, Tamora, or Aaron: they're not nearly as complex as Shakespearean villains, but that doesn't mean Disney villains not good villains, within their world.
And if you think Frollo, Jafar, Scar, Maleficent, Mr.Clayton, The Queen, and others (that I can't think of off the top of my head), are "cutsey", well then.... Good Day to you.

A) Yzma is a very good villain in the Disney realm, and even though she is seen as "evil", kids can still watch her and laugh when she gets hers in the end.

B) That demon from Fantasia, Elomin? Chernabog. And according to Disney canon, he is a villain. Check the first page of this thread, cuz he got a lot of votes.

C) Lyinginbedmon, are you referring to LRR Ash? Cuz she isn't a villain, she's just so awesome, that she broke the laws of physics and wrapped around back to villainous.

D) Ursela scared me when I was younger, but I loved "Poor Unfortunate Souls".
