There are just so many good lines in this one it is making me cry with laughter right from the start. The best one yet in my opinion.

I remember the first grandia, thought that game was absolutely awesome but sadly never finished it... got stuck on some boss in a cave that killed the hell out of me... never even thought about power leveling at that point... ah the wonders of youth.

Also, what? His mother?! I figured it was an arranged marriage or something.

I really enjoyed Grandia III. The battle system was just a complete joy to use.

There were some silly cinematics though.

That was pretty funny, I loved the whole mother bit, (it caught me off guard too), but I saw a few more oppotunities for sexual innuendos; perhaps its a good job I'm not doing these. Also, for a video game I thought that cutscene was fine. Unless that was the opening cutscene, in which case it was a bizarre choice.

I think the whole point of Unskippable is that it's always the opening cutscene of the game.

Also, something doesn't have to necessarily be bad to be made fun of.

That voice acting was slightly better than the English dub of Love Hina, but as anyone who's seen Love Hina knows, that's not saying much.

Also, I could not keep my eyes off Miranda. Is that a bad thing? :cry:

Highlights:

"Well, since nobody's here, I'll just start by lighting the plane on fire!"


"That's the most complicated Hookah I've ever seen!"
...
"That's the second-most complicated Hookah I've ever seen!"

I died at the second part of that one.

Finding out Miranda was Yuki's mom = :shock: ? BRAIN BLEACH, BRAIN BLEACH!

This is my new favorite Unskippable, I could not stop laughing. And yeah that mom bit....kinda weird. Besides I thought all JRPG main characters were supposed to have dead parents or parents that are gone for some reason (On a quest or stolen or in slavery or something), if not that then abusive emotionally detached parents.

Most memorable line for me was "Hey Bob..I'm a flower" "SHUT UP! So am I!"

Miranda actually joins your party for the first hour or two and then with nothing more than a "I'm going home for now" she apparently falls into a plot hole and is never. seen. again.
Same with Rotts, the other guy in the opening scene.

Never. Seen. Again.
