Kei-kon 2006: Cosplay

Postby Graham » 03 Mar 2006, 19:04

After a year's break, Gibb returns to Kei-kon and the cosplayer therin.

The quality nad quantity of the costumes was way up over last time we were there, and everyone was having a grand old time.

Also, had I known in high school how much girls like puppets, Gibb would not have left my hand. Despite the fact that I've only had him for three years.

In any event, fun was had by all, and I think it's nice to see Gibb back in action.
Thanks to everyone at Kei-kon for putting up with his ridiculosity.

Edit: I didn't know Gibb was gay!

I don't think Gibb knew he was gay...
But seriously, those ladies LOVED the puppet.
I was all like "stop that, bitches!" (Not really at all.)

My god, favorite video in this season.
You're an impressive puppeteer. The offside glance during the demon dog part was awesome!

And the mole-station, remarkable.

I really want to dye Gibb's hair now.
Edit: Actually, that would be a cool video, all the girls taking Gibb to a hair salon.

Also, I just realized, that guy totally made out with your hand.

WOW. NO one's commented on the Mario part yet? Holy crap, that had to be my favorite part. I'd realized that Mario was on drugs before, but man, someone else thinking the same thing makes me think I'm not crazy!
Also, The Moles-Station logo was fantastic :) Great job guys, I loved teh video.

On anothe rnote, off to cancel my trip to the "Video-Game Insane" assylum.

Hahaha, that was awesome. It is very odd to see oneself in a video.

And it's really neat to see what you filmed compared to how the video ended up. The Mole-station thing was great. Vash was so over the top it's halarious. And I was so impressed with the material you came up with on the spot! I'm glad everyone enjoyed kei-kon ^_^

Now I just have to make sure none of my friends see this....

I just wanted to note that, while he may advocate drugs, he also advocates something far more sinister.

I saw 'Molestation' and I knew where that was going. It would have been an insult not to use it.

Dr. Gibb did indeed rock supreme, the hug with the blonde guy, that rocked. Nice puppety skillz dude.

Cute pose at the end, class.

I do like the parallel drawing, stylish indeed.

Wow, that guy's got a LOT of love to give.

...so, if gay marriage is legal now...is gay human to "yeti" marriage acceptable? Or will the scandal of it drive Gibb to live incognito in a rabbit hole at UVic while his human lover faces exile from the world as we know it and is sent, as part of an underground NASA experiment, to live on Neptune?

I still have yet to in some way do a similar to what you did Graham...only insult the cosplayers...however to do what they do in front of all those people I do have to give them some props...but not many.

I think we need more old school bullies at UVic. You know, the kind that would run up to you and kick your sand castle in your face saying, "It's gonna be like this all semester, Dingus!"

I got locked in a locker once... that was unpleasant.

Once in middle school, while trying to be cool, I tried to slam my locker closed with a flourish. I instead managed to hit myself in the forehead so hard that I nearly lost consciousness.

I didn't need bullies.

that blonde guy that proposed to Gibb also proposed to my female friend at last year's kei kon. so she is probably jealous now since Gibb stole her fiance.

Lol, Morgan (... the blonde guy, not OUR Morgan) proposed to me last year, too. Granted, he was paid 10 bucks by his friends AND was cosplaying Miroku from Inu Yasha at the time, so it's justified in that respect. He's a blast to be around, heh.
