The creators of the simpsons made a live action version of the opening sequence: http://www.zippyvideos.com/9434636804088976/simpsons/

I think that was done in the UK. Or somewhere where they drive on the left side of the car.

I was lied to! It was a fan short. And yes it was done in another country. Notice the Liscense plates.

Edit: I was lied to AGAIN! It was apperently the beginning to an episode. Damn people and their lying!

Wow, that was awesome! I miss all the colours, though!

There is a movie being made but it's animated.

It looks very Englandy. But the man's car is left hand drive, that just scares me. The woman's car is okay however. For a start, it's in English (signs, etc). The policeman looks like a Met Officer. The opening sequence is... wet. Number plate white at the front, yellow at the back. The road sign when 'Bart' crosses the road looks like those in England, but can't remember any from outside of the UK, it's not the sort of thing you really pay attention to is it?
'Wow, look at the scenery!'
"Yeah, that roadsign is just FANTASTIC!"
And finally, when 'Lisa' is going out the door, I don't know how it is in other countries, but I do recognise the health and safety fire signs, having seen them at least 3 or 4 times everyday of my life. Though I suppose they'd look the same no matter what country, maybe a different language and that's it.

There's many other little things, like lamposts, road markings, etc. But I don't know what they're like in other countries either.

Dear god... I've actually failed at life.

Speaking as someone from North America who has been to England several times, the first thing I thought while looking at that video is "Wow, that sure is England."

It just feels British.

18 Months! Holy shit!

Edit: I just noticed that Bart passes Bloody Gums Murphy on the street. Thought I would share that.
