Nope @ both previous guesses.

It wasn't a very popular game and it was mostly played online in Red v.s Blue team type matches.

Ha! I think kilgr killed this thread with obscurity! I don't think anyone's going to get this one, man.

I think there may have been a map for the original Unreal Tournament called Gauntlet (I didn't play much of it, so I can't be sure). Also, this screenshot looks quite like that game. However, all this swordage, plus kilgr's hint that the game was 'obscure' leads me to think that it may be a mod. Can't be bothered googling to find out what mod it is, though.
