I consider it safer to either sequester everything in a hidden off-drive archive or memorize URLs and regularly clear your browser cache.

Nearly 6 GB of reference pics is some kind of awesome, though.

Alternately, setting up some sort of scheme on your entire directory tree that makes it impossible to stumble across the porn accidentally.(I read about someone whose directories were simply nested directories labeled A-Z. The Games folder, for example, was Root:/G/A/M/E/S/ while the folder Root:/P/O/R/N/ contained a text file which read "What are you doing here?")

Thing is... I don't live with my parents and nobody snoops on my laptop because I keep it so close I literally sleep with it sometimes... So even if anyone I know DID stumble across anything it would be more of a "tee hee whoops" event than a OH GOD NO one.

Except that realistically you're never going to meet a consenting porn actress, so it remains the fantasy it's supposed to be. Interacting with porn is all in the imagination of the participant, so what does it matter if its someone you will never meet or someone who never existed to begin with.

Also, Hentai can defy physics and biology.

It's real porn, but it's pretty ridiculously idealized. I'm kinda split on it, to be honest.

On the one hand, it has the potential to be just goddamn attractive. With drawn media you can emphasize physical features in ways that play with sexual desire and drive things in a different way than reality does. You can defy physical limitations and enter more into the realm of fantasy, which can is undeniably wildly attractive to almost everyone.

However, I find that hentai has the downside of being somewhat too culture-specific to Japan, at least for my considerations. There are a lot of things that kind of rub me wrong (no pun intended) and which really kinda ruin any sort of interest in certain types of hentai. Chief among these are things like male dominance: everything ranging from "moe" depictions and weak women to the far extremes of voyeurism, coersion, and rape. Another thing that doesn't sit well with me is the seeming dichotomy of extremes of prudishness and shame with extremes of perversion and obsession. It's something very foreign to me, and I hate the contrast between characters dancing around their feelings like shy school-children one minute and then bursting into full blown raging lust the next. It's not to say these are Japanese or hentai specific complaints, but they do seem more prevalent in hentai than elsewhere.

To be honest, I find the majority of pornography unsatisfying (pun also not intended). Too much of it is over the top, too much of it is commercialized and dehumanizing, too much of it is extreme, surreal, and almost unhealthily detached from actual sexual nature. Whether it's a hentai girl or a real one with watermelons for breasts being brutally analized and liking it despite 'wanting' to resist, I just kinda am pushed away by it.

If I could have a preference, it would be for pornography that celebrates sex as an expression and extension of intimacy, not as a "dirty" act done only for base reasons. In a similar vein, I also enjoy material that shows off the human form and figure. Some people are just drop dead gorgeous, and appreciation of their beauty comes naturally to me.

I hate watching some "actor" and "actress" perform intercourse while grunting and talking naughty, but I absolutely love watching two people lose themselves in each other physically and emotionally. I'm not at all a fan of crass and contrived excuses to grind artificially enhanced bodies together, I'm a devotee of people experiencing each other sensually and honestly.

I'm in agreement about hentai - it's capable of some great things, but the degree of mental bad-touch I get from it is frankly not worth the trouble. 'Real' porn ranges from laughable to mildly terrifying, in that I seriously hope nobody actually talks like that during sex, and the fake nails of the actresses could take your eye out, if you're not bludgeoned unconscious by the blunt instrument that is the lead male's personality... Wait, where was I? Oh yeah, QFT in as many words.

I tend towards erotica, the few good print examples and the slightly more abundant online works. If you can find a writer whose style you like, then it's like delicious sex candy for your brain. I did read an article once that said men were more likely to fap to images, and women to fap to text, but I guarantee there's plenty of crossover there.

My pron folder is labeled as such; anyone using my laptop is rare, and they've likely been warned about the screensaver anyways. Although, one of my friends insisted on clicking through the 'inexplicable' folder, and I had to stop him for his own good. XD
