Who has two thumbs...

Postby Metcarfre » 18 Apr 2009, 10:34

... and just finished the last exam of his undergrad?

THIS GUY!!!

Ya-hoo! No more memorization of cellular respiration! No pointless calculation of gases expanding into vacuums! No running gels for silly vectors that have been done a thousand times!

Now I just get to work until I die! Or, well, I guess there could be grad school... or med school... hrmm.

Oh yeah, guess I should mention I'll be getting my BSc in Biochemistry w/ Co-op.

Anybody else done soon?

My last exam of college is June 18th.

That's English Language, prior to that I have 2 ten-hour Applied ICT exams on networking and databases. Oh joy.

I'm all thumbs. The last exam I've taken to do with education was in my HND 4 years ago all my other uni courses are all coursework based.

Five exams, one each day this week, until I'm done second year of college. Then I have a year of placement before writing my certification exam to become a Medical Laboratory Technologist.

And cellular respiration isn't that bad. Diagnosing all the more common anemias and leukemias is where it's at!

Nice work!

I've got a year left on my undergrad.

Your finals are early, I've got another 3 weeks 'til I'm done with this semester.

It's at this point in the academic year that I regret choosing to take my LLB in Scotland (+1 year over England & Wales) :(

5? Good god you're pessimistic. I could've been done in 3 if I really wanted to with help from my AP scores.

Co-op program, so with my AP it might only be 4.5, and I won't actually take courses for half of that, so......I really don't know what I was complaining about anymore.

Ya'll will probly think I'm nuts, but I'd be glad to be back in school and have finals and such. Infact, I might be headed back to that mode before long.

One year. One year and 3? weeks. Then I'm outta this hot-as-hell pit of filth and sin.

Congrats! :)

I'm wrapping up my PhD presently. To say that I'm looking forward to having it finally over and done with is an understatement of EPIC proportions.

My first exam is on Tuesday.

My last two are on May 6th.

The University of Toronto sucks and needs to work on its scheduling.

Fortunately, I'm finishing on an eight-month co-op term. I already have the job lined up - studying antibiotic-resistant pathogenic bacteria for the federal government. It should be sweet.

Thanks, everyone!

Congrats, Metcarfre! :D

2 weeks until finals for me. A week after that, I walk out of graduation with a BA in English, for whatever good it'll do me.

Achievement Unlocked: Bachelors of Science in Physics and Astronomy.

I had my last exam today, unfortunately a rather unpleasant one.

I have a summer job working for a prof on grid computing for astronomy then in the fall I am off on an around the world trip. Next year I will start grad school.

Congratulations to all ye graduating folk. Unfortunately for me, this only marks the period in which I have completed my first year, with a whopping three to go.

Looking forward to next year though. More interesting classes. The Simpsons as satirical authors. Should be fun.
