Would You Like LRR on Your Walls?

Postby Graham » 28 Apr 2009, 20:00

I'm thinking about hooking up some on-demand printing for some nice, high-quality LoadingReadyRelated prints.
Both 8x10 sized, and full-blown posters.

Question the First: Is this something you'd be interested in?
(Though if it's on-demand, that's less of an issue)

Question the Second: What would you like to see?
For example, I just found the "Bigfoot" sketches from "A Little TOO Human" and I'd like to scan those, colour them up all nice and put them up as an option. But what other ideas can you, the prospective purchasers, think of?

As in the other thread, I think a cool poster would be the "Comedy: Serious Business" image, and of course I would certainly be interested in one.

The Runners logo would also be pretty badass.

I also second "Comedy: Serious Business."

An "Oh Snap" flowchart?

I think it would be good to have them. How many times have we asked about Jer's missing poster? Unfortunately I'm out of the "posters as decoration" phase of my life. "Bagel Free Kitchen" would go well on my fridge, though.
I think it would be neat to have all the papercraft you guys have done over the years. Skeletor's Dick NES cart, and the Bag Fries logo come to mind. I think I mentioned it in the other thread but they would be great physical DVD bonuses though.

1: Oh dear god, yes.

2: Hmmm, the Bigfoot one sounds good, Or a "Three Ps3s" screenshot, with "I have Three Ps3s" across the bottom.
Ya know that scene in Robocop, where the guy melts? Her juices will do that to your junk.

Just cause it's on my mind from that other topic but a pencil sketch or otherwise artisticly done rendering of Paul Thingsonmyhead face would be both funny and interesting.

also second the serious business.

I agree with Metcarfre, even down to the "posters as decoration" phase of my life being over, and the idea of putting them in as DVD bonuses.

-Runners poster

-Instead of "Comedy: Serious business", "Walls:Serious busines" with Lrrians hugging/licking/forming (or a combination of all 3)

I like having DVD inserts, but their cost makes them a little prohibitive to put in.
Still! Good suggestions so far, keep 'em coming!

Man Cooking posters! Yeah! I just don't know how so, yet. Maybe Morgan in a chef outfit, with various things around the room he's in suggesting the 'manly' ideas of the videos? Like a photo shoot for a magazine type photo.

Short answer: HELL YES!

No honestly sure what they could be though. Perhaps one with a bunch of rejected wii game ideas (instead of a shirt with just one).

Keep at least one design nice and simple.

Black background, classic blue logo. Maybe some stylish adornment, but subtle and sleek.

~Alja~

Addendum: Oh hey! For us photoshop whores and such, could you put a link somewhere on the site to just the logo? It's a pain to have to screen-cap it every time I want to use it. Course, I could just keep my own copy after said screen-cap, but then only I have a copy.

Pictures of people freak me out. They all have the Perturbing Eyes of Judgement Staring, especially at 4am when I'm up to my pelvis in- anyway, all sorts of graphics and diagrams would be cool I think. Quotes are also nice, maybe arranged into some kind of shape like the Lrr logo, cast silhouettes or something equally stylish and not at all starey and judgemental.

Alas, my poster hanging days are over as well with my plans to move in with my girlfriend. The most usage I get out of images these days is desktop wallpapers, so I'd be interested in widescreen LRR wallpaper images more than the physical products. I'm not sure how you could charge for that, though.

They aren't posters but since I recently painted my computer room blue I was already considering getting some large pieces of light blue vinyl to stick the LRR logo up on the wall.

I probably wouldn't be interested in that, nor would it effect my decision to purchase DVDs (which I will, eventually. Having money would help first)

I agree with the Comedy: Serious Business poster, That'd be a must buy for me. I wouldn't mind seeing smaller prints depicting interesting screens from videos, such as the "Paul in Heaven" shot that I was mentioning from this week's vid.

But you know what I'd really love, is that if you were able to get a high resolution image of that Desert Bus drawing that Tensen did for the first Desert Bus, the one with all of you drawn, hanging out of the bus windows with Graham driving towards an almost certain doom? I'd buy that and a Serious Business poster in a heartbeat.

What FuzzyFreaker said about Tensen's Desert Bus pic. I'd really like that. Heck, I'd like to have the original image file again. I don't know where that ran off to.

You know what I would buy? Buttons. I seriously love buttons. If you had a button pack (like, say 5 buttons, all with different quotes/logos/etc...) I would totally buy them and pin them to my bag, or hoodie, or hat or whever I think a button would look good. I think decorating my clothes and accessories with buttons has replaced decorating my room with posters.
