Honestly, this apartment is pretty small, and we don't so much have a couch, as much as a few chairs...and they're rather unsleepable (yeah, I've hit a time or two where she's unconsciously pushed me out of bed¹ )

And besides; you thought it was expensive/semi-inconvenient to travel to Victoria? I'll see your $50cad to get from Vancouver International to downtown Vic, and raise you either an additional $300 on airfare, or, $67(trans-mainland coach fare), $28.75(ferry) and $107(cross-island coach fare), and expect at LEAST twenty-four hours travel as opposed just going to 'half-it-lacks'.

One good thing about living at 'the arse end of nowhere' is you don't get too many people just showing up on your doorstep...present company excepted, of course!

Oh i had a good idea of the cost, and i would be willing to cover my cost. But I am a week ass nerd and cant shoot a 12Gage shotgun with being tossed to the ground, witch was VARY funny!
