Name that game (description edition)

Postby Vaughn » 16 Jun 2009, 21:28

You played as a bipedal cat, your main tool/weapon was a extendo-punch glove you could buy upgrades for. The levels were "TV channels"

Felix the Cat, the upgrades were a magic stick and hat, a motorcycle and a tank. Love the fuck out of that game.

I loved that game as a kid. The main reason I got my NES modded for US imports.

You played as a boy, and with the help of your trusted dog, you have to survive and uncover the secret of this strange world you find yourself in.

Alright then.

In this FMV adaptation of a crappy movie based off a pretty good book, you lived in a sci-fi world where getting near a computer would instantly kill you. This was insanely frustrating.

Ok....

In what can only be described as an evil twist of fate, some rabid creatures take you and your friends hostage and force you to play in their Colosseum games, while you figure a way out of your cell (involving the use of their plunger-trophies).

I think that was in either Breath of Fire 1 or 2, but was that the main plot? I thought it was just something with Windia?
