Which LRR crew would you like to hear narrate an audiobook?
I heard today about Bob Barker's autobiography, and his plans to narrate the audiobook adapted from it. I REALLY want that now. I bought a discount audiobook on a whim, and it was an interesting experience. It's funny how familiar you get with someone's voice when you listen to them tell a story for five hours.
My brother is a professed fan of Graham's voice, especially during the Phailhaus. I wonder which crew member would you all like most to hear narrate an audiobook. If you know to list what book you think they should read, feel free.

Story Guy, clearly.
Then again, Morgan or Matt's intensity would be interesting
Addendum: I think it would be pretty awesome to have Graham narrate the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Re: Which LRR crew would you like to hear narrate an audiobook?
Graham would be best for most books, but I would love to hear Matt narrate scathing, vitriolic forum rants.
Re: Which LRR crew would you like to hear narrate an audiobook?
i'd like any/all of them. i find the canadian accent soothing.
Re: Which LRR crew would you like to hear narrate an audiobook?
I really think it would depend on the genre of the book. I'd prefer graham for some things, but say Matt or Morgan for others.
Bill would probably be excellent at narrating children's books.

Re: Which LRR crew would you like to hear narrate an audiobook?
To be honest, I don't think there's any evidence of any of them being particularly good. One has to be able to voice a multitude of distinct characters and that ability hasn't been clearly displayed in the videos (particularly because their medium is ... well, video). I voted for Graham since he probably has shown the most audible range in the videos.
I think Andy is the only one that could legitimately pull it off. I would be a little surprised if he hasn't already made an audition tape. If he hasn't, he really should.
I'd certainly be pleased to try a fiction book read by Andy. Something from Project Gutenberg, perhaps? Desert Bus fundraiser! I'm still thinking there should be a PBS pledge-level gift bags for the upcoming DB. Pledge at the $100 level and receive an mp3 download of Andy reading Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland!

Graham has a really good voice - he has the right pitch and amount of gravel in his voice at times that's really nice to listen to.
I vote Graham. Bill second, if it was a comedy audiobook.

It'd be best to have all of them do it, with maybe Graham as the narrator and then everyone else doing dialogue for different characters. That's my favourite kind of audio book, I remember listening to Diane Hoh Point Horror audio books that were done that way. Made it much more interesting.

Graham just has the right sort of voice for audiobook narration.

Andy really is a fantastic performer, I'd love to hear him do princess bride.
While Graham's Phailhaüs voice is great, I'd love to hear Paul though. The slight befuddlement when he tries to explains something exciting and the normal calmness and slight monotone would be entertaining as hell.

Brad as his CH:8 investigator persona, si vous plait (actually, am I on to something there? ).
But yes... Andy would be a dead-set audiobook legend.

How could you not like Paul's smooth, deep, Barry White voice?

Re: Which LRR crew would you like to hear narrate an audiobook?
Of the list provided, I'd have to go with Graham. But, I also think that Andy or Brad would make awesome audio-book narrators.
As for a book, I'd have to say Salt. I haven't gotten a chance to actually read it yet, but I understand that it's a fantastic book. For those that haven't heard of it, it's a book about the history and importance of salt. Sounds boring, I know, but everyone I know that's read it has said that it's fascinating. Besides, if Andy, Graham, or Brad were narrating it, I'm sure its Awesome Factor would be enhanced tenfold.

I have an Audible credit left so I might have to try it out.

I honestly think Graham has a great radio voice. He should work for the CBC.

Either Paul speaking normally or Graham in his faux English accent.
I'm voting for Paul.

But then we wouldn't SEE him. How could you hide Graham behind the mike of a radio. Although, I too think he'd too a great audio book, along with Andy.

He'd be like Rex Murphy - his own call-in radio show, and also video spots during the week. OH MY GOD CROSS COUNTRY CHECKUP WITH REX MURPHY AND GRAHAM STARK. YES.

Morgan should do the audiobook version of the official Super Metroid Player's Guide from Nintendo. And then do an abridged version, consisting mainly of "At this point, YOU HAVE FUCKING SPACE JUMP."

I say matt only because his voice would make it possible to convey sarcasm even in written form.
Re: Which LRR crew would you like to hear narrate an audiobook?
It was tough between Matt and Graham for me. Matt has a lot of passion but Graham has the voice.
I chose Graham in the end.
