commodoreHUSTLE Marathon Party August 3rd live via ustream

Postby Lord Chrusher » 07 Jul 2009, 13:20

Update
To attend in person meet at the fountain in front of the McPherson Library at UVic. The fountain is at one end of the quadrangle (large grassy area) at the center of Ring Road. We are in ECS 124

The stream is scheduled to start at 12:30 pm Pacific Monday, August 3rd baring any technical difficulties. (3:30 pm Eastern, 8:30 pm in the UK, 7:30 am on the East Coast of Australia)
Find the stream here http://www.ustream.tv/channel/lord-chrusher

While we were waiting for the tenth commodoreHUSTLE to go up we were talking about watching all the commodoreHUSTLEs one after another after the last episode comes out in a month. As that thread has been locked we can continue that discussion here. James has said that if enough of us in Victoria can get together to watch the videos he would come and hang out for a bit. Other crew many also attend.

Maybe if we are really organized and lucky we can get a preview screening?

I'd be in if I'm in town that weekend, or whenever it would be.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I am probably going to Vic at the beginning of Aug to visit some friends anyways, so if such an event would coincide, I'd definetly come.

Think we could wait up until the last week of August?

I could probably make that one.

Kind of a fan Desert Bus, or fan AAAL almost.

Yeah it wou... waaaaaait...

Isn't that what was supposed to happen with the PREMIERE of cHustle at the 5th Aniversary screening? In other words, how do you plan on getting a working Ustream feed out for us in that case?

Ustream would be a wonderful idea! Time Zones be damned.
~I'm probably not serious~
Oh and you can just call me Dave.
No need for the whole screen name.

The reason the stream didn't work at the screening was we didn't have a internet connection.

We also weren't going to actually stream the episode itself because it would've looked like balls. We were hoping to stream the Q&A, but that failed, and (happily) spawned AAAL.

So I made this thing for your cH Marathon.

The original is much larger, Flickr half-sized it for some reason.

If it was streamed, I'd so watch. Screw the time difference, even if I'm up til 5 in the morning... can't guarantee I'll be awake for all of it. But yeah, streaming the party would be awesome. Take pity on the international community.
