The 404 only seems to come up with you hit the "Forum" link from the video page. Probably a referrer-based thing.

When I first logged on I loaded the video and let it set. My girlfriend asks me what I'm watching and I offer to show her and click on the archive button and 404 pops up. Then it popped up for everything and I didn't understand until I watched the video.

I'm pretty sure that Gene Roddenberry is famous and "public domain" enough that you can use his name without fear, in the same way that Team America: World Police was able to use Kim Jong-il, Michael Moore, and all the others. His family could theoretically sue you for slander I suppose, but they'd have a hard time showing that, and I'm pretty sure the "to be continued" thing would fall under fair-use anyways.
