I'm using this scene I made in 3DS MAX at the moment.
A much bigger version though of course.

Re: Post your desktop/mobile device pic
Thanks to Lord Crusher for mine. Its massively scaled down for the forum, and available in resolutions up to 480 megapixels. On my monitors its 3840x1860 (didn't want to screw up the aspect ratio by adjusting the height, and couldn't bring myself to crop it, so I left it as is).

Re: Post your desktop/mobile device pic
3840x1860! as soon as I get my second monitor (not anytime soon, thanks economy!) mine will be about 3840x1080, so not quite that large. Just thinking how long it would take to render a wallpaper at resolutions like 3840x1860 is mind boggling...

You can have wallpapers on an iPod Touch?! I didn't know!
Edit: I can put a wallpaper on the "Slide to Unlock" screen, but it doesn't show up on the Home screen. Why not?

Re: Post your desktop/mobile device pic
Not long, its only a 6.3mb file, and I have a fairly beastly machine. I desperately want to add more screen real-estate (I just barely have room on my desk for a third monitor), but instead I'll have to downgrade for university .
Tim, you can put on a whole lot more than just add wallpapers. If you know what you're doing (or follow the guides), you can redo the entire interface. Well, actually it only looks like you have, but its still pretty impressive to turn it into a PADD from Star Trek.

Re: Post your desktop/mobile device pic
Matt, I'm happy to see you're still enjoying the Prime image I showed you Not long ago I was trying to find it again & had to search through pages & pages of tweets before finding the original link.
All y'all must use much higher screen resolutions than I do. I have to scroll three miles east to see your desktop images full-size.
My current image is a free desktop from the Coraline website. It's a soft gray/blue wallpaper pattern that subtly suggest insects. Viewable here.

Re: Post your desktop/mobile device pic
I'm using one of the ones that ships with windows 7 cuz its bloody AWESOME.
This is not _my_ desktop, As I changed mine to look more like a hybrid between glossy 7 and XP.
My cellphone is a picture of my girlfriend I took outside the CN tower, and my mp3 player is just the black zen ripples.

I stole mine from a friend who uses it as well: he found it on a Warhammer 40k art thread on 4Chan, and it is one of the few good things to come out of that hell-hole.
