Good to see Graham and Paul taking this a bit further, using some of the gameplay as well to emphasise the joke.
I think that MGS having a whole month too itself is actually pretty funny as well

I think I know what MGAugust will be... each Metal Gear game intro, starting with MGS1 and going up to four.

Dammit Trish!
Quite funy, and I did like the call back to the moon jokes in dirge of cerberus.

Yeah, like any game ever makes it that easy.

Re: Unskippable: Devil May Cry
What's all this about a Metal Gear August?
I thought they might just make a feature length film out of the Metal Gear 4 cut-scenes.

Re: Unskippable: Devil May Cry
Wow. That was a REALLY BAD intro movie. It didn't make ANY sense.
I think they only made it so that Graham and Paul can make it into something funny.
Which they did!

That girl has mad persuasion skills. There aren't very many people I know who could convince someone they're not an enemy after they've run said person through with a sword and thrown a motorcycle at them.

Well she also looks deceptive in sunglasses, so I'm guessing it's all in the eyes.

"This is gonna be a long day."
Yeah, whole thing was great, and a lol'er to finish it!
Technically it was cheating to include actual gameplay, but it was TOTALLY worth it.
And I'm interested in Metal Gear August, but did you have to fling a disembodied hand at me?

Re: Unskippable: Devil May Cry
Metal Gear August is actually ALL Metal Gear Solid 4.
The fans have been demanding it since the beginning.
Also, that shirt is a surprise to me. Huh.

Was the opening of that really that long? I can't recall.
Re: Unskippable: Devil May Cry
I loved that they used the gameplay footage...especially considering the cutscene clearly implied that was the way the player was supposed to go.

The gameplay bit at the end was my favorite part. I also liked the quip at Wolverine, too.

Strange. Especially since I'm pretty sure that shirt has been for sell for at least a month, if not longer.
But it's white.. eww.

All of Metal Gear 4? Wow, I guess I won't have to shill out £300 for a PS3 now...but I really want to play the game. Damn, I'm going to have to give up watching Metal Gear August.

You could make at least 2 feature length films with the MGS4 cut scenes. Hell the ending cut scene alone is feature length.
And what's with the hand? That kinda scared me. Watching watching, EXPLOSION! Okay...that's not bad...what the? A Hand! AHHH!

You know, they did a pretty sweet anime on Devil May Cry.
