Re: Magicland
I seriously died when Paul asked Gibb how he was and he just said "...good" the timing was perfect and I just thought it was hilarious

Gee, the storybook guy from Rapidfire I is called Simon! Knowing that just makes it a whole lot easier to refer to him. Which is by no means the only reason I really liked this video.

WTB Warriors of Darkness hand puppets. On a related note, poor Ben is out of a job now.

Actually, behind-the-scenes fact - they get Ben in when they're recording the voices for the Warriors of Darnness (get it? Darn? Like needles? Darning? ...Nevermind), and have him just stand there, breathe, look glum, etc., so they can enhance the realism. That's real dedication to craft right there.

My son and me both yelled at the top of our lungs... And then I send him back to his room so he wouldn't see his father giggling like a schoolgirl...

YES, YES I KNOW THE MUFFIN MAN, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!
Seriously though, the plodding pace of the music seemed just perfect for the show. Which is an excellent send-up of children's shows, by the way.
Also, Gibb rocks.

Re: Magicland
I really loved this... but I also really love kids' shows, and things making fun of kids' shows.
And the music choices were awesome - especially the L'il Warriors segment, and I now have "Following the Leader" in my head. Thanks a bunch guys.
I was wondering, for the L'il Warriors, if you tried giving them higher pitched voices. While I love them as is, I think the sheer adorableness of them (and size) makes higher pitched voices seem more fitting... though I don't know that it would necessarily be.

Re: Magicland
Brilliant! Most videos make me smile. A few make me laugh. This one had me laughing loudly multiple times.
Quick question: for some reason, my mind's language center just isn't parsing the end of the ad. What's the very last thing Paul says before the video proper starts?

Re: Magicland
WoD dolls have won me over. I missed the actual WoDs and this is good enough to tide me over.
Though, you guys can get away with a lot more when it comes to the dolls. I don't think walking through town with a bloody sheep's head would do you any favours.

Why can't Paul host an actual children's show?

Great video, by the way. I found it amusing throughout.

Paul could kill a puppy in front of the Pope using the bible on national television and people would still trust him with their kids.

Man...this might have won me over as my favorite LRR VIdeo of all time...
I am going to wait before I call it definite, but it's very very high up there.

I loved this video, because I learned so much. You see, I always thought you used candy and cuddlebunnies to pillage a village. Now I know better...
