Hello everybody, I'm Doct...Ninnnu, a high school student from Finland. I'm a female tech-geek (yes, we exist) and an IRC-addict, but from time to time I end up going outside looking for geocaches. :)
That's basically me in a nutshell.

I'm Danielle (Ellie and Dee are acceptable alternatives, but Dani will get you bludgeoned with footwear). I write fiction (in spite of myself...when I remember) and I study the social sciences. Which...aren't. Sciences, I mean. They do tend to be social.

I'm a budding linguist and anthropologist, a full-time college student if I can work out little things like transportation and...stuff. I work retail, as a result I do know what Hell would look like if Satan lost all organizational ability.

I speak French (poorly) Italian (laughably) and Japanese (in a bizarre alternate universe where three greetings and the ability to order lemonade count as "speaking"). I learned a few words in Czech for a short story once, and the only one that I retained was "rozumite?" which means "you got that?" and no, no I don't.

I live in a part of New York no one has ever heard of. Namely, the state itself. I live in a village not far from Syracuse, which holds the title of "Snowiest Big City in the World!". Yep, Moscow ain't got nothin' on us.

I think I'm a lot funnier than I actually am.

The name's Sparky, Scottish, starting the first year of an architectural engineering degree.

Slightly odd.

Hmm.. Alright I'll give it a shot.
I'm 14, about 5'5, like to sail, hike and play video games. I also dabble in literature, having to bookcases filled to the brim, and art, sketching landscapes.
I live with an anarchist, a restaurantuar, a city planner and...my sister. She isn't very interesting.
I am also a well known socialist and, as Greydon says, "rabblerouser".

I am stoplight. I was born to speak all mirth and no matter.

That being said, I take zombie apocalypses far too seriously.

I am married to the infamousbeegee. I am a graphic designer.

I am exuberant, but easily distracted by shiny things.

I prefer to play rogues, but for some damn reason I usually tank.

Greetings everyone, I am jp11
I'm a recent college graduate with a BS in mathematics, an avid gamer, and pretty much just a really mellow guy. I've been enjoying LRR for some time now and thought I'd join in the fun here in the forums.

Hi everyone! I'm Matt and I'm 21, currently living in Perth, Western Australia! Hopefully starting a Computer Science/Games Technology degree at university next year. I'm usually playing whatever I have on the 360, Dissidia on my PSP and until recently, Final Fantasy XI Online.. (/sigh.. So much time I want back ;;) Although, I've been enjoying the Aion closed and open beta and quite possibly playing that quite a bit when it's finally released. I do really hope that Square Enix actually put some effort into Final Fantasy XIV Online and make it actually enjoyable.. Yeah..

I originally discovered the LRR videos primarily through The Escapist's Unskippable videos, which are extremely hilarious. Totally an awesome homage to the great MST3K. I've only recently just spam-watched a bunch of the LRR live-action videos recently and man have I been missing some epic stuff!

Anyway, yeah.. I hope to be more active around here and try to contribute as much as possible. Thanks guys!

Hello, I am Brandon and I am 17. I am an amateur reporter who works for my school's newspaper. I live in North East Ohio.

I found LRR through a combination of Unskippable and tvtropes.org, I had first flipped through the site after watching an unskippable video, but I never really watched a video until I saw a description of the Quantum Documentary on tvtropes. The Quantum Documentary was so interesting and funny that I proceeded to watch all of the videos in the archives aside from most of the iron stomaches and the kei-kon panel, which won't load completely on my computer.

I, like the person before me, hope to contribute, intelligently.

another newbie? SHOCKING!

Hi, I'm RoentgeniumFinger. I discovered LRR about six months ago, and since then, have basically been visiting the site daily to watch and re-watch videos, listen to podcast archives and stalk the forums. Yes, I have a job, but I have no life. I'll probably post here and there, but not make a huge impact. Just wanted to say hello, and possibly add something to the precedings here.

OK so,

hi I'm Ben i'm from Schliersee - Bavaria - Germany.
And just because i think Kathleen would be interested in it, i have to mention that i'm living about 2 km from the place where the first bear that entered Germany in 170 years was shot in 2006.

I'm 29 years OLD and theoretically finishing off a degree in computer science but practically not doing anything because of health issues.
So i'm playing WoW and other video games to pass the time and watch about 10 LRR videos a day. And atleast 1 podcast. Is that enough?

I mean i only had one weird LRR related dream so far.

I'll probably won't post much but i thought i'll say hi.

I choose to interpret the subject line
[Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)]
as Reintroduce yourselves! So, I used to follow LRR quite frequently, then I didn't, then I wondered what everyone was up to and so I thought I'd pop in. Anyone here I might remember? Anyone here might... remember me :( ?

AmazingPjotrMan remembers me! Well, by virtue of being on msn... I feel so lonely now. So I suppose I'll just have to start all over again! What attracted you all to this place? And why the hell isn't LRR more well known, already?

You're Swedish! Don't you guys have social healthcare and a shitload of depression? Your health system should be ready to handle exactly your case.
