Lobster. Those things have enormous will to live, and will escape from traps like nobody's business.

Lobster, however, is lacking deadly stinger of death, which Scorpion has.

Also, we eat lobster. We don't eat scorpion. My chain thus shows scorpion as clearly superior.

Paul...I love how you weren't so much worried about the cruelty, more just the feasibility of the combat scenario.

Pure gold guys.

Yeah, I'd have to go with Scorpion due to the fact that I would eat the lobster.

Paul + Matt is not a chemistry we see often, but it worked pretty well. The fact that it said "LRRtube" confused me, since Graham was playing a character Josh, so I didn't get why it would say LRRtube. But, nitpicks aside, and dismay that we didn't get to actually see a lobster and a scorpion fight, it was good times!

The scorpion's stinger would not pierce the lobster's exoskeleton. The chitinous lobster shell is pretty tough. The scorpion's exoskeleton is pretty soft and crunchy to the lobster's muscular claws.

I would hold off on eating the lobster until it had mauled the scorpion thoroughly.

In addition, the land would be the battleground, as lobster can survive for quite some time out of water (they get pretty feisty that way too) but a scorpion would drown quite quickly.

Clearly the only way for there to be a fair fight is to have them fight in space. That or in the Taiga.

The real question is what would win:

Lobster-Scorpion or Bear-Shark?

The bear-shark would cause the universe to implode, so everyone loses.

Also, I JUST noticed: Was this video inspired by "English is fun?"

You know, I've never had lobster, but every time I see one I get hungry.

Once I get my next check, I'm getting one and masticating furiously.

They're very tasy indeed. Moreso with melted butter. A little tough to get at though, but they taste better for the effort.

Scorpion is eaten in some areas of the world.

Also, I too hope that this was in part inspired by "English is fun!"

Finally, thumbs down on Youtube. Dinnae' work for me, but Quicktime did.

Twice as large? You've gotta be kidding. Won't the vacuum inside just make the screen implode? Also you would need much higher beam currents and accelleration voltages for this.

I have to admit, the very first thing I thought of when I saw the title on the RSS feed was "Wait... no. They wouldn't. That would be horrible. Would they?"

Then when I went to the site and saw it was the Monday update and not a bonus video I was relieved. Let's face it, even a lobster and a scorpion fighting would not fill a proper update. Unless it had some really good voice-overs.

Anyway: Video itself. Funny. I had never heard Macerate before, but I think I have to try to use it now.

Screening ad: Awesome face, Jer. Can't believe you held that for so long.

Actual vid: Also awesome, but in a different way because you're switching things up. I'm guessing the LRRtube logo in the upper right corner was your way of emulating the regular YouTube logo and that's cool.

I have to admit, though, that there's been a lot of Paul lately. Not counting cHustle and the bonus vids, he was in 66% of the videos since the middle of July. And not that I mind, but I think I'm starting to get his characters confused.

While one might assume the scorpion would win on account of me eating the lobster before the fight had a chance to happen, I put forth that the scorpion would lose as it would be disqualified for purposefully enticing me to eat the lobster.

That scorpion is a crafty one. Binky, I shall remember thee.
