April 28 Update: Hagiography Today

Postby Graham » 03 May 2006, 09:42

So, what do people think?
It's a standard length for podcasts, and we like the variety of stuff we talk about.

Thoughts?

Perfect length for a podcast.

If you have to go short it wont be too short...and if you go long then it wont be too long.

a suggestion: I have no idea what your process is for making that weeks video, but how bout you podcast that session, so we can hear your rejected ideas and what not. Example: the Penny Arcade's cast. Borrowing ideas online is cool. :D

I liked it. It's always nice to hear you guys in a 'more natural' environment.

I've never heard a podcast before this one, so while it may be standard length, I did think it was a little long. Thought on why: As a first podcast its easy to talk about anything and everything, but I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere down the road you find that you have less to say - you know, out of concern for not repeating yourselves or whatever.

Also, about the whole 'it used to be easy becoming a saint:' If I remember correctly, people were often made saints to convert pagans of the area, so a lot of the stories concerning them are most assuredly false. I could do a better job of xplaining this later, but I am very tired.

Yeah, I have the same feeling about the length too.

Both that this length is good, and that it might get shorter.

I thought the length was awesome. It was very nice to have running in the background while getting some work done... And a half hour of you guys off-the-cuff appeals to me greatly (you guys meaning the general LRR crew, not necessarily just Graham and Paul...ego go SQUISH).

Good times.

I too played it in the background. Well worth the listen. Quite good length. I'd say I was happy with it, thought it was very funny and interesting at the same time!

I went to listen to this podcast after I finished the finale. I admit I was interested in the evolution of it all and it was actually a very interesting thing to listen to.

Notably though, Graham and Paul used to have much softer, gentler voices ten years ago. I cannot emphasise that enough.
