It's Back to the Future Day!

Postby Evil Jim » 04 Nov 2009, 23:43

Happy 54th anniversary, Doc!

The movie you should watch today wrote:Doc: Here's a red-letter date in the history of science, November 5th (surprised) 1955.

Doc types in November 5th 1955 and then realises.

Doc: Yes, of course, November 5th 1955!

Marty: What, I don't get what happened.

Doc: That was the day I invented time travel. I remember it vividly. I was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porcelain was wet, I slipped, hit my head on the edge of the sink. And when I came to, I had a revelation, a vision, a picture in my head, a picture of this.

Doc shows Marty the "this".

Doc:
This is what makes time travel possible. The flux capacitor.

I'm going to celebrate by watching the movies. If you can afford it, you can even get your own Flux Capacitor from ThinkGeek. Have fun!

Good thing I got the Trilogy Box Set a while ago :-)

I'll see you all in the past, in case I finally start thinking 4th-dimensional.

A time traveling toilet. Nice. Also, right next to your towel, so you'll always know where it is.

Remember remember the 5th of November
the day Doc Brown did give thought
I see no reason the 5th of November
should ever be forgot.

In honor of Doc Brown, my hair is to remain unkempt and sticking up in random places. If only I could get to my doctors coat. I'd run around and start shouting at random people in the streets.

Totally safe in Chicago.
