I love the fact the "the guy who is super" leaves one X2Y video to go to another one, gets the solution, and brings it back to the previous X2Y video. Only a superhero could do that!

Also, between Paul and Graham, who gets to be the little spoon?

during ways to ruin a first date: if you look at the map to the left of the door in the hallway, you can see Matt (not that it matters, just pointing it out)

ways to relieve a hangover: frige reads: i pwn Jer in halo3 - awesome

ways to stay warm: question: what IS Kathleen spraying? I couldnt tell... (fail)

ways to survive the recession: as Jer comes out of the 'bank' the chain fence behind him says: Area Closed Beyond This Point - lol

ways to stay awake: question: does james have a dead body behind him on the bed? is it a dead Paul-cop?

overall: awesomeness. keep'em coming.

ways to get the fanbase up: release more seasons of dvds (hint hint, nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more, say no more)

Beyond fanservice, this makes for a great video for introducing the new Desert Bus traffic that will come to the site. First of all, it's funny in a universal manner with rapid punchlines to keep a new audience engaged. It only takes 2 or 3 examples for a complete stranger to understand the theme of the video. It establishes that these guys are almost as old as the Internet with the original airdates. It covers the fact that there are a zillion crew and supporting cast members.

I was wondering what they were going to do for a video during Desert Bus week to have as their banner video and I'm pleased on all kinds of levels. Mind you, I love X Ways to Y so much I made my own so I was going to like it anyway.

In my not-so-humble opinion, the whole package including circumstance makes this one of this year's best LRR videos.

A Q for the crew: given the multitude of locations and supporting case, was this filmed over a few days?

This is going to sound weird, but seeing Graham and Paul in bed together always makes me laugh.

OK that did sound weird, I was right. But they're like... a Canadian Burt and Ernie!

When I was watching the video, I was convinced these were just deleted X's filmed at the time of the original videos. I couldn't believe you'd be able to get all these people and locations together again... but you did! Crazy! A lot of work, but it definitely paid off.

I really liked the intro with the slow pan with Graham and Paul in bed together, that's always been one of my favorite sight-gags.

Anybody else weirded out by Paul being the cop to James?

Given that the X2Y videos are my favourite, this was pure indulgence for me. Also, since I haven't been around to see the older ones (I'm guessing they're part of the videos that do not exist here but keeps getting referenced to) it was very interesting to get a glimpse of them.

This is going on the top of my list of Ways to make Tina laugh.

To tell you the truth, Arius, we needed extra money to fund LRR, so we signed up en masse for a bunch of double-blind experimental H1N1 vaccine tests. Based on research thus far, we're pretty sure a quarter of the crew will be dead within the next month, and another quarter will have super powers, so we're covering all the bases and tying things up just to be sure you're all ready when folks start to drop.

The video was pretty funny, but I have to say this made me lol more than the video

I have to comment that after watching this awesome 'DLC' video that enhances what we've already enjoyed, I've had a shower, shave, helped sort the laundry, and I'm STILL whistling the X2Y jingle!!

Fantastic job as always, guys. The best part was the continuity between diff X2Y's: Paul taking soda via osmosis melds into James destroying Paul's corpse¹ via corrosion which passes into Cop-Paul citing James with 'desecration of a body'!

And I second ecocd's idea that this is a GREAT intro video to new viewers - it gives a general sense of the humour, and also might pique the newbies' interest in digging through the archives for X2Y's they want to see more of...

1. I know this has been asked, by my hippocampus sucks: is Paul the 'designated corpse' - are there deleted outtakes of other LRR members auditioning as 'the body' that weren't as good as Paul, and that no one will ever see?

Best part, for me; "Ways to Stay Cool". James wearing the Jets shirt made me say, out loud, "He's Jet. He's Jet all the way." Good stuff.

And the bailout was at the Provincial Legislature, not a bank. Very generous of Gordo to give you that money.

Very nice. I knew an X ways to X ways to Y had to happen eventually, but this still turned out great.

I am ashamed to admit though that I was not expecting the Sam Raimi at the end (which really did tie together the entire video).

And Graham in bed with a laptop and pipe is somehow a very satisfying picture.

This. That was actually my favorite throwback in the whole thing. Also, for some strange reason, I thought the Kathleen/Alex Global Warming was hilarious. I can't really describe why, but they did that perfectly. Well done.

I think it says something about my state of mind that when I saw Ways to Stay Awake, I actually said out loud, "Watch Desert Bus!" before it came up on the screen.

This was a wonderfully self-referential way to keep me occupied until then though. Good work.

At first, I thought these were just remakes of old X2Y videos. I didn't realize they were new until "Ways to Abuse Shaolin", and if not that, the corrosion for "Ways to Hide a Body" would have done it.

Also, for "Osmosis"/"Corrosion"/"Skeleton Littering", how can it be that Paul is both the dead body and the cop, while James (who is hiding the body) is also the cop?
