The emo guy was the most badass in the game he was introduced in.

All three have annoying sidekicks.

In the newer games it seems like the good guys always team up with the enemy in the end.

Yep. The 2006 one that had no special name or number, which makes no sense since it wasn't a reboot and referenced the older games a lot, and overall would be better if they stopped giving Shadow cars and guns.

Seriously, it takes him one hit to blow up a car and he can run faster than any cars he drives. Why the hell does he need a car?
