King Rocky IV wrote:Ways to Survive a New Moon Marathon

This is video of Matt employing various means to get through or get out of watching New Moon half a dozen times in a day. It would go from the simple means, like:

-Earplugs
-Blindfold
-Sensory Deprivation Tank

To more elaborate means, such as:
-Body Double (I'm sorry Tim)
-Out-Of-Body Experience
-Last Action Hero (gets sucked into the movie, I don't know how that would work, but it would be hillarious!)

As for the Sam Raimi, it could chase him into the theatre. The only possible hurdle for making this would be bringing a video camera to a movie theatre. They tend to frown on that.

I have another one to add on top of that:

-Take a Third Option

Rooting for "Team Alice" may be funny and may make the movie much more interesting, but for some reason the fan girls don't think it's funny. I can't imagine why...

-Act creepy and drive a windowless van.

After all, can't watch the film if the theatre has a restraining order.

That would require the crew to actually rent a windowless van for the sketch. Come to think of it, some of these would have to be vetted for feasibility.

The crew are on the Escapist now... I'm relatively sure that involves money.

I remember hearing in a Q&A recently that only Paul and Graham are actually making enough to support themselves for being in two different videos. The rest of the crew still has to get by with their own jobs, and I sincerely doubt that the Escapist would pay well enough for them to start producing elaborate and expensive sketches for LRR. They still pay rent and eat food occasionally.

Except Paul. You know, on account of the undead thing.

In one continuity. So, I may be losing track of coninuities here, but I think somewhere around 25-50% of Paul needs to eat still, and the rest needs brains.

By the way, the X ways to Y videos I'd like to see are:

Ways to Combat the Zombie Apocalypse
Ways to Rebel against the Government
Ways to use Video Games
Ways to ??? Profit (I feel this one has untapped surrealist/absurdist potential for smash cut humor)
Ways to Manipulate the Internet
Ways to become a Superpowered Being

and as a compliment to ways to stay awake

Ways to Get to Sleep.

I'm stepping up the game. I included suggestions on how to accomplish said video. My friends and I had a sweet time coming up with these.
Also, I apologise for not knowing the forums well enough to know there was a video suggestion thread thing... I'm still learning how to be a computer geek.

X Ways To Y: Get Rid Of Door-To-Door Salespeople

1. Hide (Salesperson knocks on the door. Everyone inside dives for cover behind furniture. The guy peers through the window, sees no-one, and walks off.)

2. Counter-Offer (Salesperson knocks on the door. Person answers the door dressed just like them and tries to sell them something. The original people back away.)

3. Self Defence (Salesperson knocks on door. Person opens the door wielding a gun. Salesperson runs like hell.)

4. Tower Defence (Shot like a basic tower defence game, a group of salespeople slowly advance on the house as the people inside defend themselves with water balloons/anything else.)

5. Full Frontal (Salesperson knocks. Person inside opens the door in the nude. Very. Awkward. Silence.)

6. Move House (Salesperson knocks on the door. A completely different person answers it. Across the street, the original guy laughs and heads into another house.)

7. The Sam Raimi (Pretty much exactly like in The Evil Dead II, the camera chases the salespeople up the path, straight through the house and out the back door. Eventually, they shut themselves in a closet, but the 'camera' knocks on the door. They open enough to see the 'camera' open up a briefcase, trying to sell them something.)

So i am going to elaborate on this
Ways to Deny Reality:

Ignore it
Suicide
Become A Shut-in
Play an MMO
Rip Open Space Time
Sleep It Away
Make Crazy Internet Videos
Video Games....
Move to The Artic
Play Dungeons And Dragons
Forget About It

And the Sam Raimi ---> The Person Starts moving toward them and either gives up because the person doesn't run away, or just ends up literaly bumping into them.

That could work. We need a few more suggestions (can't really have video games, MMO's and D&D), but I love the Sam Raimi!

Hmmm,
Well you could use:
Drink it Away
Read
Keep Video games, (cuz it could be one where it keeps showing them and there are more video games sitting around them and more stuff to insinuate longer and longer game playing.)
Project yourself into your own fantasy (or something with fantasy)
