This. We only ever got (and still only get) Cheerios and Wheaties, occasionally some Chex, and about once a year we'll get a box of Apple Jacks. Going away to camp meant as many bowls of fruit loops in the morning as I desired, and all of the croutons in the world to snack on, all afternoon.
As someone mentioned before, I really
like the sound of a dial-up connection getting started. It's a really comforting and nostalgic thing, the same way I feel about smooth jazz in the evenings. I miss that.
Also I wanted to note that this is the first thread in recent memory - outside of debate/argument threads - that really made me stop and think for awhile. Kudos. I am appoint.
