I just noticed something. Was the cart that you used for Catgirls Coffee the same one that sits in front of the museum?

I suppose it would have to be what with Empire Theatres and the US ferry terminal in there

You guys really should do more music videos. I don't think you've made a single one that isn't top-notch.

It would be one damn cool musical, though. I'd watch it. Many times.

Fantastic video.

The musical would have like, 7 songs. "Leaving Tucson," "Bug Splat," "It's Nighttime Now" "Fuck I Crashed Fuck Fuck Fuck," "Why is it still Night Has the Rapture Come?" and "Got to Las Vegas."

My first thought was to set "Bug Splat" to the tune of "Love shack", (or "Glove Slap" if you watch The Simpsons).

My friend isn't forum registered, but she's told me to inform you that Bill should not have been on the bus. He should have been under it.

Personally, I think the crash just gives us a new record to beat next year. And a Bill to beat this year!

My one complaint about the video: Jer needs to work on his expression acting, sorry, his bewilderment is just a little over the top (to the point where it's *almost* comical). James pulled it off better.

Yes, and with the possible exception of "The Writer's Room" and "Eyewitness Accounts", it's the best video LRR has ever done.

I just wanted to personally thank Andy for writing the most infectious song ever. I can't stop singing it to myself. It is wonderful.

Amazing video, can't help but wonder if when Andy says he'll grab a "pen n' tell'er" is a secret reference or a coincidence, either way, sauceome job

Look at how his expression changes when he sings that line. He definitely meant it.

that whole verse is a complete non-sequiter inserted simply to get that pun in.

It's not a non-sequiter, he's talking about how he's been driving for so long (back and forth between the towns, like the game) that he's been away for years.

Thanks guys. 'Cause you know I had nothing better to do tonite than rewrite a whole freakin' B-52's song.

Anyway, here is a little ditty expressing anticipation for the bug splat. It warrants celebration because that means you are now more than halfway on your trip from Tucson to Vegas. Sung to the tune of "Love Shack" by the B-52's. Enjoy.

If you see a metro sign at the side of the road
It means just five hours to the Buuuug Splaaaaat! Bug splat yeah.
I'm headin' down the ol' deserrrrrrt highwaaaaaay,
Takin' the old buuuuus to get away
Heading for the buuuus getawaaaay, (bus getaway,)
I got me a bus and a ticket for two
and we're headin' on down
To the bug splat
I got me a Greyhound it seats about 80
So hurry up and bring your loveseat-baby

The bug splat is a little old place
where we can ce-le-braaaa-te
Half-way baby, (half-way bay-bee)
Bug splat, baby bug splat
Bug splat, baby bug splat
Bug splat, baby bug splat (oh, baby that's where it's at)
Bug splat, baby bug splat (oh, baby that's where it's at)

'Sign says.. (Woo ...) Vegas, fools,
'Cause LRR rules at the bu-u-ug splat!
Well we're back on track and it nearly seems real
Just a yucky old splat but we're gonna get back

Desert out the window
Desert on the highway
Desert on the bus seats
Desert all the wayyyyyyy

The bug splat is a little old place
where we can ce-le-bra-te
Half-way baby, (half-way bay-bee)
Bug splaaaat, that's where it's at!
Bug splaaaat, that's where it's at!

Watchin' and a waitin', sittin' and abatin',
Feelin' like a muffin 'cause it's hot as an oven!
The whole bus shimmies!
Yeah, the whole bus shimmies!
The whole bus shimmies when tires hit the gravel
Spinnin' 'round and around and around and around!
Everybody's movin', everybody's groovin' baby!
Folks linin' up, up front just to get down
Everybody's movin', everybody's groovin' baby!
Funky little splat! Funk-y little splat!

Hop in my Greyhound with your ticket for two
'Cause we just love to serve you!
I got me a bus and it seats about 80
So hurry up and bring your loveseat-baby

The bug splat is a little old place
where we can ce-le-bra-te
Half-way baby, (half-way bay-bee)
Bug splat, baby bug splat
Bug splat, baby bug splat
Bug splat, baby bug splat (oh, baby that's where it's at, yeah)
Bug splat, baby bug splat (oh, baby that's where it's at)

Bang bang bang on the seat baby!
Knock a little louder baby!
Bang bang bang on the seat baby!
I can't hear you
Bang bang bang on the seat baby
Knock a little louder sugar.
Bang bang bang on the seat baby!
I can't hear you
Bang bang bang on the seat baby! (Knock a little louder!)
Bang bang bang on the seat baby!
Bang baaaang!
On the seat baby!
Bang baaaang!
On the seat!
Bang baaaang!
On the seat baby!
Bang baaaang!
Say what?... Streamline, BUS-ted.

Bug splat, baby bug splat
Bug splat, baby bug splat (oh, baby that's where it's at, yeah)
Bug splat, baby bug splat (oh, baby that's where it's at)
Bug splat, baby bug splat (oh, baby kiss me at the buuuuug splat)

Just watched this again with the audio synced up and all. The only thing that I can conceivably do at this point is add another "That's Awesome!" To the growing pile. Really great stuff, everyone.

I thought it was believable. Its about how I react. An outraged, "What‽" It does make his look a little weird because he raises his head which exposes his much smaller neck.
