Steam/Game Deals!

Postby InsaneFool » 30 Nov 2009, 14:56

I'm not aware of any pre-existing thread for this, so I figured I'd make a super thread where we can post about deals that are going on right now.

Right now as part of Steam's "5 Day Long 1 Day Sale" or whatever its called you can get Assault on the Dark Athena for $10 and Mirror's Edge for a measly $5.

If you haven't checked out either of these games yet, it might be a good idea to do so now while they are so insanely cheap.

Isn't this the last day of 5 day sale?

Really nice thing altogether. I already bought Dragon Age: Origins and Left 4 Dead.

Um, yeah

I rarely go to the Steam Store, and I just happened across it today. I did hear that Borderlands was on sale though.

I got the original KOTOR (had it on Xbox but of course that bricked it years ago) for £1.74 which presumably would have been $2.50. Bargain.

EDIT: Oh and Dragon Age for £22.49. Love it.

So far I've ought Mirror's Edge and Evil Genius. I'm also eyeing up the THQ complete pack, despite the fact that I already own all the DoW games (and I'm also getting a bit irritated at having spent £20 on Soulstorm and DoW2 when they were on sale a few months ago: if I hadn't I'd have snapped up the THQ pack like a shot)

Me and my bro bought Mirror's Edge. I actually came here to gripe about it, since it's starting to piss me off.

I'm having that problem as well with Saints Row 2. But according to the specs, my laptop should run it like a breeze. It's really starting to annoy me.

I can run Borderlands. I set it on its lowest settings and haven't tried anything else, but still.

My guess is the shear amount of stuff to display bogs everything down. Enclosed areas and playing with the camera pointed down work fine, but its hard to play like that.

Like I said to my friends:

"If you ever wanted any game for PC, NOW is the time to buy it - Steam's having a 50-80% sale on just about every PC game in existence."
