Its easier if you don't think of them as vampires, despite what the books and movies tell you. Beside the blood sucking, there isn't much if at all in common. Even the blood sucking is sketchy.

No, its much easier to think of them as crimes against humanity, or a blight upon the earth. A pox, if you will. Am abomination.

When my sister told me about the sparkly vampires for the first time, all I could think about was the character Mr. Shine from Terry Pratchets's Thud!. And I still think about a troll made out of diamonds when people talk about Twilight.

I'm trying to figure out if it's better to just have a thread like this, so every time someone thinks "Ha ha I feel like making fun of Twilight again" they can just post it here and leave it out of otherwise normal discussions, or if this is just slowly building into a malignant tumor, growing bigger and bigger until it can't be contained.

It's both. The last few times I've found some humorous Twilight stuff I've just stuck it in here. I'm still surprised about the Craigslist one.

I am part of some brand review panel and I have to post information on brands that I am familiar with.
