How in the crap did Santa get that on his sleigh?

And does he even deliver to demi gods? Specifically demi gods in SPACE?

I mean, you're a little out of his way and all.

A black eye, a bloody nose, split knuckles, and the satisfying sound of my brother-in-law's ribs cracking.

But on a serious note I really didn't ask for much this year. Pretty much all I wanted was some circular Corningware casserole dishes and a seven quart cast iron Dutch oven. I received more of the square Corningware I already own, and an enameled Dutch oven. It's the enamel part that makes it of no use to me. I can't bury it in hot coals if it's enameled. But they went to a lot of trouble to find it, so I'll keep it. Later I'll go to Sears and get a Lodge Dutch oven for a third of the price they paid.

My sister knows I like Michael Chambon, so i got the paperback of Yiddish Policeman's Union. Which I have in hardcover. So that's getting returned.

But I got another year of Live and $100 gift card to a grocery store. And next week I get a free (used) sofa.

Wish someone got me Dragon Age.

I didn't get much, since I didn't have that much on my wishlist.
My mother and stepfather bought me a new pair of shoes. They were pretty nice.
My father got me a ticket to Roskilde Festival 2010. That was awesome.
My stepfathers sister got me a ticket to Royal Metal Fest, a heavy metal festival in Århus, where I live. That's pretty nice too.
And the rest was money. Which I needed, so that was nice too.

I know that here in the local outlet, we have a Corningware store, and I've gotten the French White cookware set from them. It's pretty sweet.

Also, enamel Dutch Oven for the real oven, Cast Iron Dutch Oven for the coals. As long as it has feet, then you can do all those recipes from Good Eats

*Christmas socks with pom-pomps

I bought for myself using my own money:

*Regular edition J.J. Abrams' Star Trek on DVD
*LEGO Star Wars complete for my DS
*Greatest Hits version of FFXII for my PS2

And finally, this year I gave:
*Thomas the Tank Engine toy for an NYCares needy kid
*$155 to Child's Play for sick kids

Thank goodness for that holiday bonus/gift. I wouldn't have been able to breathe easy during my vacation in California this year without it.

I feel pretty relieved, to be honest.

I'd been worrying lately about my current long term energy storage solutions. My current nuclear batteries are somewhat lacking in sheer bulk, and I have to make due with less wiggle room than I'd like. With this much fresh tritium I can put it directly into several different uses, upgrading my power systems in terms of not only storage, but also harvest and even production.

I'm still estimating the net results of the potential new output levels and I think I can increase my calculation efficacy and efficiency by about thirty percent each, which could mean two or three additional folds per session. Needless to say, I'm quite excited.

Furthermore, the leftover amounts I can barter away for some new luxuries. I've been eyeing an improved communications array, think I'll have enough left over for a profitable enough auction to snag the parts I'll need.

A Toshiba laptop (it runs TF2 on Max settings!)
A new Graphics Card for my desktop (Direct X 11!)
A $100 Starbucks Card (sooo... I can get 4 drinks)
And I WOULD have a new keyboard, mouse, and headset, but the package won't be here until Monday... Newegg...

Pssh, there are easier ways to trace my connection, if someone really wanted.

Unfortunately they all lead to an empty location with only a small self-powered server array that I connect to remotely. It's protected, of course, and stores no vital data. The device's technology itself is a concern, because I honestly don't understand how it works myself, but that's a loose end that will simply tie itself up in the event of unforseen circumstances.

I came in here just to say:

I thought Snuggies were cute, the first time I saw the commercial, but about five seconds later I realized I own no less than half a dozen things that do the exact same thing.

Doesn't Kathleen have a large, fluffy, cuddly cat, anyways? That's what's keeping me warm right now.

But imagine a cat in a snuggie! Snuggie cats would be so cuddly!

or just a blanket and a cat, that pretty much works too

Good with soya sauce.

When it gets especially cold out, I just put an electric blanket under my sheets. Tends to warm up quite well.
