Re: Best Mail Delivery Ever. (And other DBFH mail deliveries!)
So Vaughn finally got the Warriors & they had to travel 1,200 KM. I'm nearly three times the distance at 3,300 KM. It's no surprise he got them sooner. Logically speaking of course, which doesn't take into account the postal system.
Could you link to higher resolution photos? I (& probably others) would like to get a closer look at your winnings.
Can't wait to get Story Guy. I've been camping the mailbox for weeks.

Is too late. Now I knows all your secretz.
But anyway, I'm amazed at the attention to detail in everything, from costumes to weapons. I wonder what the little ball of yarn & knitting needles are used for. OMG! They're knitting a tiny scarf!! Incredible.
I'm wondering now if my DB shirt will be autographed too. I know Story Guy's little red book is.

Taking lots of photos this evening. Not sure when I'll get them up but I'm fairly certain they'll be worth the wait

This would be the point someone 7000 km away from Snowfire goes "I don't remember ordering cat ears..."

Re: Best Mail Delivery Ever. (And other DBFH mail deliveries!)
While certainly not quite as epic as Story Guy or the Lil' Warriors, the post that was waiting for me when I got back to my Uni house was certainly the best I've had in a while:
Title page:
Looks like I've got some studying to do
For the curious, I won Tally's poetry competition, I did not have the cash to compete in the epic bidding wars. Next year, I swear
Thank you guys so much!

Re: Best Mail Delivery Ever. (And other DBFH mail deliveries!)
Oh...I do believe this is a ray of hope for me. If that package has reached the UK (I presume you go to uni here) then my package is hopefully not too far away. Unfortunately....I don't think I'm getting it anytime soon. We haven't get our post delivered in something like a week due to the ice and snow. And our council is almost out of salt...

Yep, I'm in the UK. I don't know when it actually arrived, but I hope yours gets there soon!
I'm sure the postman will sense the awesome eminating from within and find new courage to pass through the snow.

One can only hope. If it's got to you that fast though, I should have it by the end of the month maybe (please, please, please let that come to pass).

The british don't have that whole "neither rain, nor sleet, nor hail, nor snow" thing?
Then again, the american's don't really either.

Re: Best Mail Delivery Ever. (And other DBFH mail deliveries!)
If we do, snow is not on the list. The entire country is currently broken and hiding inside with a mug of hot chocolate and a warm duvet. We'll consider functioning again when the snow goes away.

Re: Best Mail Delivery Ever. (And other DBFH mail deliveries!)
I hoe all those in the UK but if I may act like an ignant Merrkin for a moment,
"Y'all dont get yer mail cuz of some snow? We always git ar mail 'n time. S'in our Constitution, that makes it unlawful to not git it. Put that in yer tea and sip it!"
Okay, I'm done. I hope your stuff gets there safely for many SQUEEEEEEs to be had.
