So... what you're saying is I should freak out?

In seriousness though, the glimpses of update I saw earlier looked highly promising, looking forward to exploring v7.0 whenever it's ready :)

PREPARE OUR BLADDERS FOR IMMINENT RELEASE!

..By which I mean, please don't ;;

Now, from what I've seen already.. Unskippable and ENN right from the main page and video page is simply ingenius! They line up and easily sync to The Escapist! Blog on the main page too, which is a great place for it. Plus the video icons look awesome and the About page itself looks damn sexy o.o I swear Graham looks like he's trying not to burst into a fit of laughter, which is perfect. The lack of Runners outfits am disappoint though ;;

Very well done, guys! I know you're still tweaking with things, but hell, congrats anyway! Now where's the Escapist/LRR launch party!? :O

So Bill and Morgan are known as contributors now? Hopefully this doesn't mean less appearances from them. I was a little disappointed they weren't in the The Job.

in other news the site looks pretty dope. shame morgan a bill aren't on the official crew, good to see tally, ben and the steceys getting some credit for their work.

Edit: any reason why the banner at the top still says V6.0?

I'm taking suggestions.

What'll really cause some havoc with this thing?

It goes to 12, so.

Also, I'll gladly have some tea, thank you.

Crowded front page is crowded.

My advice: pick one format or the other.

1) feature the videos nice and big like they were and make the blog sidebar a little more evident (ie move it up further). Example: The Legend of Neil's homepage.

or

2) Feature the blog and embed the video in the blog. Therefore every time you post a new video, you make a new blog post. Example: most blogs.

Also, I'd try and find a good way to put a backing color behind the blog text, with everything else going on on the page, it strains the eyes a little.

That being said, I'm glad you guys will be using the blog more it's a good tool for keeping the non-forumites apprised of what is going on.

I can't comment in more detail until the refurbishment is completed, but so far it looks pretty damn fine. I like the fact that the blog now looks more like the rest of the site.

Actually, I think it looks quite spectacular how it is now. The latest videos are all in a line at the top, the blog's there on the front page below it to keep everyone informed of news.. Putting videos in that just clogs up the blog.

LRR's doing their own thing and personally, the way LRR's site looks > any other site I've seen. Even The Escapist looks mega cluttered with thumbnails and briefs everywhere. This is nice and clean.

If everyone could just stop rioting with hot drinks in their hands we could avoid some nasty burns. It's basic panic safety, people, let's not cause unnecessary hospitalisations.

I like the new layout very much, it's great to see all of your work collected in one place for some centralised linkage. And the Crew photo is awesome. Evening wear for the ultimate win!

I dig the new layout. Making the blogs a bigger deal was a really good decision.

Mmmm, tea.

*sip*

I say, what a simply de-light-ful site redesign. Good show! I cannot wait until this iteration reaches its complete maturation so we can have a celebration! Perhaps with new items in the store as well?

All in all the entire day has gone pretty damn well for you guys. The site resign, the new and improved store, the blog, and, of course, your debut on The Escapist. After the initial excitement and fatigue wears off I think it'll become apparent exactly how far you've come in just the span of a day.

Oh, and one last thing: riot!!!
