Maybe soon some new DIGITAL VERSATILE DISCS in the shop? Or maybe HD-DVDs, I hear LRR has the market for those cornered.

I've been wondering about this too. I'll be buying a Season 4 DVD, but was hoping Season 5 would be out soon so I could just order them both at the same time. Wishful thinking?

Besides my ability to give LRR money, I don't have too many concerns over this change. Glad you guys are getting more money for what you do and getting more viewers. I like the way you're handling the move to the Escapist and still keeping things centered around the site. More blog posts are also definitely good. ^^

The site looks great guys. I want to say that the community appreciates all the extra work all you guys (and girls) at LRR have been putting in the last few weeks to get ready for today. After all site redesigns and reorganization don't happen in one day, and in the end the transition looked pretty seamless. Here here! *Raises a cup of Dublin fog*

I have a question:

Are you guys going to retroactively add Unskippable and ENN to the Videos page, or will it simply be every video from now on?

Also, love the new site design. My kudos to you.
Just call me Dylan. It's easier to pronounce.

new site design is good... no wait... it's better than good, it's more reliable, trustworthy and Resplendent! I think that the "Bonus" and "ISC" video panels should be bigger to about the same as the 'regular' videos or thereabouts.

@wartjr2373 they aren't going to be retroactively added, because they would require more effort than putting up 5 videos every week

My biggest complaint is the total loss of iPod compatability. Even with the iPod Touch that I am posting this message with, while I can view the webpage as well as any other standard webpage, the "iPod Optimised Version" gets riddled with PHP errors and the Escapist-hosted videos don't display (of course) and have no download option either.

I'm glad you fixed my one lingering complaint that bugged me all the way through the last site design: the placement of the LRRcast button. So now I'm happy, see: :) ?

I'd like to know more about the cast changes, but I can probably guess.

MG, was that because if the ad loaded a bit too slowly, you'd try to click on the LRRcast button, then the ad would expand, push it down and you'd click it instead? Cuz that happened to me last week.

Two things: 1. Bill is no longer in the cast. *sad face*
2. Morgan is no longer in the cast. *sad face*

Today I was having a hard time getting onto the site, like it wouldn't load and I would get an error screen. Was that an isolated incident or were there more of you out there?

Um, no?
They are totally in videos, they just aren't involved in the minutia of week-to-week operations, like the crew is.
It's not like we've kicked them out.

I knew people would read it that way. Sigh.

FYI, Morgan is in this week's ENN, and in a video we're shooting this Friday. Bill may or may not be in a video on Saturday depending on final casting decisions and weather.

Ok, good. I thought maybe it was something screwy in the update that needed to get smoothed out. Now I just want to know why it was doing that. I am not very tech literate. Browser issue maybe? I am using the Google Chrome at the moment.

Also PS: Morgan totally looks like he is pulling a Han Solo in his photo on the new cast page. Love it!

That happened to me too, but I'm pretty sure that was just he site transferring between nodes or whatever was going on.

best we can tell, our web host wasn't able to keep up with our increased traffic.

as far as Morgan, he's actually wearing a han solo outfit in that picture.

Agreed. Even if LRR can't host the vids the player does have an "Embed" link.

Question: (that I keep not getting an answer to):

Does this mark the official start of SEASON 7 or is the season end/beginning still going to happen in October?

There's a very good reason for me to have an OFFICIAL answer to this (and not just the wild speculation that I keep getting from other forumites). I want to make sure my next "T-Shirt Ads video", which would be the one for "Season 6" begins and ENDS with the right videos.

I recall Graham saying that, at least for while they're with the Escapist, they're adjusting the seasons to match their deal. So Season Six and it's DVD will go to Wakey Wakey, which actually works out because cH will be on a separate DVD.
