To increase the flavor of chocolate, just add FLOOR! and RAGE!

cooking, it's gentler with out morgan. but still amusing.

also, it's a damn good thing there was no cheese in this bread, or i'd be having a logic collapse ala pi to a star trek robot about having a cheese related discussion in a non general discussion thread, which of course is where all cheese related discussions are supposed to be, even though that bread would probably be awesome with some ricotta and BRAIN ASPLODES!!!

Part Phailhaus, part Not-So-Manly Man Cooking. I didn't know destroying chocolate was so emotional!

Just as a thought.. How would that turn out, sending some Graham-made starter internationally? It'd... Be messy, would it not? But on the bright side, you'd have some starter made by Graham!

Nah, I noticed that too, just required more volume on my speakers. I love Graham's remark back.

A new phailhaus, and baking, two of my favorite things!

Edit: Please tell me the chocolate you used wasn't the chocolate that was all over the floor?

If anything, it seems closer to the return of both Phailhaus AND Man Cooking...

I name the, Phailing at Man Cooking in Teh Haus.

...Not as catchy as I would have hoped BUT GOOD ENOUGH!

Best things? Chocolate raaaaage (SEE WHAT I DID THERE??!!) and the missing secret ingredient, ORPHANS!

Still, good to know that teh Haus isn't dead.

Why? It got baked, so as long as there weren't any hairs or obvious bits of rubbish, it's fine.

In fact, it would probably have been fine even if it weren't baked; I'm sure Graham maintains his kitchen floor at least somewhat. It looked clean enough, anyway.

Tim Hortons has strip clubs?

I hope the bread turned out ok with the applesauce substitution. I tried making cookies before Xmas that had applesauce as a low-fat substitute (for something), and they turned out rubbery and bland.

Officially, no. Unofficially, they do seem to be next to each other or across the street more often than random chance would predict.

The chocolate we used was not, actually, the floor-chocolate.

The bread was delicious!!

After all, you did "Omnomnomnomnom". This alone states that you ate your larger-than-a-blueberry-muffin-sized baked goodness!

Incidentally, would floor-chocolate be more of a moppy taste? It was dark like the blackened rage of Alex's man-chocolate-crushing!

This is what I always try to tell people, especially my mom who bakes a lot. She'll drop some white chocolate on the floor and throw it away, and I just don't understand why. You're about to sear it in 400 degrees of pure heat until it has morphed into a wholly unrecognizable form - the germs it may have picked up from the floor will not be hanging around very long.

But people who bake are AWESOME. As a person who bakes, I can personally vouch for this.
As can people who enjoy my baking. I'm especially good at oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies and various muffins. Also cranberry-lemon scones. :)
