Why wouldn't one want to watch the directors Commentary? That is some fascinating stuff!

Well, no worries. If your essay is as cleanly & clearly written as your posts you're sure to get an A.

Well, don't worry. Life is quite absurd, and death's the final word. You must always face the curtain with a bow.

Life of Brian happens to be my favorite Python movie. I'm very fond of the, "what have the Romans ever done for us" scene.

Neil Peart once said that high school english ruined Julius Ceasar for him. He can't read it now, because he studied it to death in school. But, he can now better appreciate the rest of Shakespeare's plays.

As long as your only watching Life of Brian endlessly, you should still get a kick out of the rest of their stuff.

If you haven't gotten it by now, you're complaining if falling on deaf ears. :P

Personally, I would love to write essays about Monty Python. I would complain about the movies I watched in media but...most of them were actually really good. Like, I am glad I got what I did.

God I loved media. :)

This is why I'm always dubious whenever somebody tells me that they're really looking forward to studying something that they love. So often the study destroys the love.
It's the same reason that, though I love the theatre, I wouldn't try to become an actor: when you make something your work it stops being fun. You have my sympathies, Josh, no-one should have to have that happen to Monty Python.

Honestly, I have no sympathy for this, because 3 years ago (jesus christ, 3 years ago) I did the same thing for one of my courses... except the movie wasn't Life of Brian... in fact it wasn't Monty Python at all...

It was Requiem For a Dream.
It. was. Requiem. For. A. Dream.

I haven't seen that movie since.... So cold.... so very cold.

The only thing that ever happened to me with is fixed camera live audience sitcom, which I never liked that much in the first place. Knowing more about rarely kills it for me. Really i even still love Requiem for a Dream, it's just more of an overdose kind of thing. I'll probably watch it again in a few years.

Do you guys remember back in the day, when new forum members had enough honor that if they wrote "it's" where they should have wrote "its" they'd do the proper thing and throw themselves upon their swords and die with honor?

Those were the days.

You know, Life of Brian is reading this and feeling very sad that you don't want to hang out anymore. He has a plan though. He is going to get his fake beard...

I had to play the same 3 songs for a year, 4 hours a week with my band. I had the worst college band in history. I could actually play everything with one hand while I read a book with the other. It really did get that dull.
