Anvil Knitwear.

I'm sorry you have such ongoing apparel woes. We try!

Thanks for the info, Graham.

I think I mentioned it in the Science shirt thread, but something with a V or scoop neck would be awesome, and in a women's cut that wasn't sized ridiculously small. I realize the last one is almost unheard of, but when you consider that the baby doll 4XLs are essentially the same size as (but shorter than) the unisex small shirts, you can see why I get frustrated with the sizing issue.

Aaaaaaand I just got an email from James that the science babydolls aren't actually available in 4XL. So now I need to decide what to do about that order as well. Fuck.

eta: Graham, not sure what your shirt supply lines are like, but Anvil knitwear women's style 641 is something I would wear and is available up to a reasonably sized 2XL (i.e., still larger than the babydoll 4XL). Style 652 is also nice, but doesn't come larger than XL. Just some ideas since I was looking at the Anvil site.

Looks like I'll be trying t-shirt surgery sooner rather than later, since I'm not giving up the science shirts, but it's going to limit future purchases if I have to custom tailor shirts before wearing. I'm not that good a seamstress, darn it! :(

Yeah, I PMd you about that to apologize as well. Sorry. :(

Scoop-necks would be tough to make work with a lot of designs, considering they'd have to be done in the same run as T-shirts.
You know what? I'll ask our printer.

The shirts don't necessarily have to have a deep scoop or v, just slightly deeper than the crew neck makes a huge difference. The Anvil styles I noted above shouldn't mess with the printing process that much, but have much better sizing options than the babydolls.

Again, women's fashion is a minefield, and I appreciate all the effort. (I want to give you money! Why won't you let me give you money?) :P

It means that the 12 people out of every 100 who want different styles (like babydolls) can have theirs too!

Except we can't! Because the baby doll raglans fit tiny and don't come in the full range of sizes this time, and everything else has a strangulation-high collar that makes my chest look like it's located at my waist

I have this same problem! I was going to ask about the fit too, so thanks for already saying something.

I'm going to have to think about either going unisex or editing a babydoll...

If I could justify buying a t-shirt for £18 I probably would, but I'm not sure I can at the moment... Maybe I should take my winnings back to the casino and make myself enough money to buy a shirt...

Quick question on the raglan. If I choose it to be red is it just a red square around the slacker or are the colours reversed?

The Raglan is only white/red, as in the picture.

And Myrph? It's $18 USD, not £18 GBP.

Yeah, but when you take into account shipping and person preferences regarding the type of shirt I'd order, it pushes the price up just enough that it is about £17.80 or something like that, which at the moment I can't actually afford to spend on t-shirts.

But! Come April, I'm getting a job working for the same company as my Dad, so I'll have sufficient income (hopefully) to splash out on a whole slew of LRR t-shirts and memorabilia! Too bad I won't be able to get this shirt then...

Edit - Additionally, the rates I used and the one quoted by The Italian are actually the business rates, the actual rate I'd get from paypal is worse than that, so I'd have to pay more anyway. This is a picture of the Paypal confirm payment screen for me attempting to buy a large mens/unisex red/white raglan shirt, which would cost me £18.40. If I hadn't gone for the raglan, it would be about £17.10, but still well outside my budget.

The hoodie version of this design would be great for actually starting an Intermural Slacking Team of sorts.

That said, I shuffled around money and got myself a ringer tee of this design. Funny story though, my dad seems to think that I need to wear a men's Medium Tall, because I'm long in the torso, but I wear men's medium regular because Large just feels too big on me.

Argh! I can't decide between the red shirt or the red-on-white ringer. I know you'll say I should just get both but considering the number of shirts I already have I shouldn't be getting any. Decisions, decisions...
