Thanks for the info, Graham.
I think I mentioned it in the Science shirt thread, but something with a V or scoop neck would be awesome, and in a women's cut that wasn't sized ridiculously small. I realize the last one is almost unheard of, but when you consider that the baby doll 4XLs are essentially the same size as (but shorter than) the unisex small shirts, you can see why I get frustrated with the sizing issue.
Aaaaaaand I just got an email from James that the science babydolls aren't actually available in 4XL. So now I need to decide what to do about that order as well. Fuck.
eta: Graham, not sure what your shirt supply lines are like, but Anvil knitwear women's style 641 is something I would wear and is available up to a reasonably sized 2XL (i.e., still larger than the babydoll 4XL). Style 652 is also nice, but doesn't come larger than XL. Just some ideas since I was looking at the Anvil site.
Looks like I'll be trying t-shirt surgery sooner rather than later, since I'm not giving up the science shirts, but it's going to limit future purchases if I have to custom tailor shirts before wearing. I'm not that good a seamstress, darn it!
