I found this in Video Suggestions >> Quick Ideas

Verify if this is the case for yourselves.

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong.
Can you tell which thing is not like the others?
Of course you can I circled it in red!

But yeah this is pretty unusual from what I could tell, what would even cause this?

Someone I know was telling me a story. On a forum she was on it was heavily moderated; so a bunch of users resulted to having a conversation through titles, where the moderators wouldn't check.

@Unclever Title:

You can change the "subject" of the post in the "Post Reply" page. There's a field just above the message-entering area where you can title your post whatever you want.

Edit: It says "Subject:" at the top of the message-creating dialog box, and then there's a single-line text-entry field.

I'd screenshot it for you, but I'm too lazy.

No need, I caught on a few minutes before your clear concise and very helpful explanation.

I had indeed forgotten about the subject line that appears near the top of the "Post a reply" box.

And worry not my dear Forumites, I will not go around abusing this newfound (or newly remembered?) powers of changing the subject header.
