YAY!
Oh, man, that was so awesome. Excellent stinger as usual, but the rest of the video was as entertaining as usual.

Note: in Ireland 'ye' is used as the plural of 'you'. It rather neatly avoids confusion online.

"The Turkey Myth" had me rolling.
If you play this video at the same time as Ways to Stay Awake, does the world end? I'd try it but I'm scared.

Oh, X2Y, how I've missed you so.
I'm a little confused about the turkey baster though... How exactly would one consume a turkey dinner with a baster? puree?

X2Y meet the escapist, Escapist, X2Y.
Sleeping pills reminded me of "Has this ever happened to you?"
I assume the textbook was Tim's, perhaps?
To who do we owe the "good photoshop" thank you to this week? and Cassettes? Its 2010, books on CD.
Paul should be the one in the science coat.
I expected a few more Death jokes because it is Paul after all... lest we forget X2 Hide a body.
Also, not the first time we've seen Paul shirtless in an X2Y... is it creepy that I know that?
I love X2Y this does not dissapoint. Good work.

Yay, X2Y.
Is it becoming a requirement or a tradition that Paul bathes in stuff now? Not that I'm complaining, but... yeah?

Love me some X2Y, always a good laugh.
Now I just need to go buy two stuffed sheep, and find some friends next time I'm having trouble falling asleep, that should work just fine.

Awesome, X2Y is back. I loved the toilet paper finish line, and the Sleeper Hold was my fav. The Sam Raimi is always entertaining. Kathleen should rock the lab coat more often. I had a good idea for an X2Y vid a while back, 'Ways to Cause Cold Days In Hell' Have fun with that.
Edit: After every cause there would be a cutaway to Hell progressively getting colder.

Re: Ways to fall asleep
I've been waiting for this since X2 stay awake. Perfect execution. Speaking of which, Anybody know exactly how many times Paul has died (on or off camera) in the LRRiverse?
Eternal Sonata... after 50 hours, it'll even put your xbox to sleep... wait no, I meant send it to a farm, where it can frolic and play with other xboxes... in a field...

Re: Ways to fall asleep
Hooray! The first X Ways to Y on the Escapist.
So naturally, having done Ways to Stay Awake you had to do Ways to Fall Asleep, again with Paul. Will this be a new trend (as with Ways to Keep Warm/Cool) or did those subjects just naturally lend themselves to the format?
The Turkey Myth bit was funny but could have been executed better. The set up was fine but it's too easy to tell the projector was FXed in later.
The Warm Milk bit was clever. And here, all this time I had been drinking it.
By far, the bit that killed me laughing was the Sleeper Hold. When El Pollo patted his head & gave him the kiss I about died.
The Books on Tape was a close second with "Ben Stein Reads Droning Russian Folk Songs."
Glad to see The Escapist forum seems to like it. Unfortunately, the Eternal Sonata stinger seems to be a favourite over there. Unfortunate, because making fun of the game wasn't invented by LRR.

Re: Ways to fall asleep
Can I just say that the idea that this guy has all these strange people, such as a scientist, sheep throwers and a mexican wrestler just to help him drop off. All people who he trusts enough to fall asleep around too. I know these are just jokes and not like a character piece but the idea of that I found to be hilarious.
But any road yeah! Very funny vid! Great to see X ways to Y again. If the evil witch had turned out to be the same guy from the club with the roofies then that would have been awesome. Like, he just pulls the hat off and jumps Paul again.

I would listen to Ben Stein Reads: Droning Russian Folk Songs for hours. I'm sure his rendition of Подмосковные Вечера would be simultaneously moving and haunting.

Yaaay for the return of X2Y!
Is there anything else to be said about this one?
Oh, right, this got my friend interested in Unskippable, via my explanation of the stinger. One more soon-to-be convert

Never count the LRR out on that kinda thing. Although they do create their own myths. Damn Bagels.

Great video, the Sam Raimi was particularly good this time around.

I believe this marked the return of Olive Snarfle[mumble]. Tim going in for the kiss was hilarious, I must admit I expect Jer to go farther in the Rhypnol (sp?) one. I'm a bad person.

Not quite the best X ways to Y, but easily the best Sam Raimi. Nearly got coffee on my screen there...

Re: Ways to fall asleep
I've actually listened to the Borington.com phonebook podcast in order to help me fall asleep on multiple occasions, which I think might even be more effective than Ben Stein.
Ben Stein probably got more laughs than that would have, though, especially among the relatively new Escapist audience.
My favorite part was by far the sheep-throwing. Not the fact that they were throwing sheep, but the fact that they had a system all worked out to roll them back to the other side.
