I can't remember the last time someone confused me for anything less than 5 years older than I actually am. People confuse me for over ten years older with a beard. Throw on a suit, and it's awesome-times.

It's not often but I still get people thinking I'm 17-19 when I'm 25 (when I shave the beard off and have my hair in a certain way).

Most people are able to guess my age fairly well. Within a couple years. I'm 16. People mostly think I'm a year or two older though. Actually, a lot of the time, people think I'm the older sibling. I have two sisters who are both 22 right now. People often think I'm older. However, I think that's mostly because people think they're a lot younger than they are.

And there are really two types of how I look right now. There's me with short hair (like 1 inch). And then there's me with a sort of white bro fro (though not as extreme in size as some people). It really depends on where in the cycle my picture is taken: whether it's shortly after a haircut or shortly before my next haircut.

Maybe it's just the trousers over the tucked-in shirt, maybe it's just my brain finally flipping over the edge, but... does anyone else really want a photoshop turning Graham into Yakko Warner?

People mainly just think I'm 17. Which is convenient, seen as I am in fact, 17. This is, however, most annoying when trying to get video games.

Oddly enough, the pimplyness seems to have migrated down from my face onto my chest. Fun times...

I generally find that when you hit you late teens/early twenties older people will assume you're older and the opposite is also true.

I'm 5'1", any day where someone doesn't mistake me for being 5-10 years younger than I am is a good day.

I'm 19! I need those years to buy stuff!

When I was 26 I was mistaken for a teenager and threatened with being sent to the principal for skipping class and having a twelve pack of beer.

People keep stopping me in town as trying to tell me about their charity. They keep asking my age and being surprised that i'm only 17, not 22, which is how old you need to be to be talked at by these people. I'm not sure if i want to be 22 so they'll stop stopping me and doing their intro with me thinking 'i know i'm too young, can i get a word in edgeways now?', or whether i dont want to be 22 so i'll have an excuse for getting away from them without sounding rude or dismissive if the good cause they're trying to promote.

That's why I ignore those charity pushers if I'm not interested or give them a loud and clear NO THANK YOU. the main thing here is DON'T STOP. Keep walking. If you stop they think they have a chance.

You have those people too?! I hate them! I really do! I'd rather give my change to homeless people. Atleast they only want my money. The charity people want my time AND my money.

We occaisionally get called by *puts on indian accent* "John from BT" *removes said accent*, and basically they ask me if my parents are in, or if anyone 18 or over is in. I don't like talking to strangers on the phone, so I just say that they aren't available and I'm not 18 so I'm not allowed to talk to them , even though I am 18.

I'm not proud of it, but there you go.

Strangely, nobody ever asks or guesses my age. I suppose I don't do anything that requires an ID though. The only people who have ever thought I was younger than I look (said I was 16 and I'm 20) were 10 year old kids who think 25 is old.

People generally think I'm younger than I actually am too, and I try to look at it this way: when I'm 40, this will be a wonderful thing. In the meantime, as long as I can prove with my ID that I'm old enough to buy that alcohol, who cares how old I look? :D

The summer before my freshman year of HS, people where asking, "Oh, you're a frosh? At what university?" Really... I was 14, people. *sigh* I miss those days.

Then, numerous times I've been out with my mother, shopping or such... and people repeatedly assume she's my sister.

At my previous employer, nobody believed I was 23 (as I was when I started). Nobody gets to be a Fed at that age...

Now... I'm back in grad school. I wonder what age people think I am now? I honestly don't know.
