I picked a self portrait that I quite like.

What he said.
My gf drew this, and I happen to enjoy her style.

Mine's a pic I drew of myself, with the simple addition of all-blue eyes, which I quite like so I set it as my avatar.

Am I Evil?
Yes, I am.
You know who else is Evil? Cthulhu.

Following the trend, my avatar is a self portrait wot I drew.
It used to be a picture of Groucho Marx

My avatar is a cartoony self portrait I drew when I was learning to draw.
On other forums I use Konata from lucky star, mostly because I havnt gotten round to replacing her with this one.

I'm sorry, are you somehow implying that you are more awesome than Konata?
I'm going to have to hurt you now. With PAIN.

It's simple, clean, a somewhat obscure reference, and looks nothing like me; what more could I want? I was inspired after something during Desert Bus got me to watch the entire ReBoot archive.

Mine is my rugby team's logo.
Re: How or why did you pick your avatar
Self portrait drawn by a friend of mine on the internet from a picture of me I had sent her.
Previous to that it was the Canadian hobo from a webcomic I read that several people told me (at the time) sort of looked like me (before my hair went wild).
I also use the logo of the Sheep Poo Paper company, because what is more awesome than paper made from animal poo?

I saw this somewhere else. Can't remember where. It was pretty much the only 300 parody I liked so I claimed it.

Just a photo of myself that I like. The previous avatar was drawn by Kathleen and is still used elsewhere.

I would never suggest something like that, I just felt myself was probably a better symbol of who I am than Konata, I can only dream to be one day as awesome as konata.
I just noticed my avatars eyes accidentally look at my post, but the face is clearly hesitant.. A completely unintentional accident which sums up everything I ever post..

Rejected Cartoons was amazing.
I used to hae an avatar of a kitten licking the screen. I still really liked that one, but I wanted a change.

I like to think, and I wanted my Brain avatar to match the LRR colors, everywhere else it's gray.

Re: How or why did you pick your avatar
Mine's from back when I was active on the xkcd forum. At some point one of the strips caused me to become obsessed with Zeppelins, so I mocked up a quick one and have being using it as my avatar since then. More recently I "upgraded" it with one that took slightly more than 5 minutes of work, and is now heavily armed, which is what you see to your left.

Well, If you want to get Historical, First I had the falling man from the cover of MYST, then this (The Stranger's Hand): and then I went for the Brain, which was first this: then I upgradded (with 2 Ds for a double dose of my pimping abilities)

I am a Runner. I am a (mid)West Coast Mother Lovin' G. If you don't know what either of those are you need to watch more of Loading Ready Run's CommodoreHUSTLE. I also like subtle animations.
My avatar may change soon so for archival purposes the one in question is below.
