Psychoanalyze people based on their avatars

Postby Bananafish » 09 Jun 2010, 12:51

EVIL JIM
Image

Jim immediately gives off a retro feel, we see the ancient video game screen and an even more ancient device. We are treated to the sense of a man trapped in the past, a time without color, where everything is black and white. A simpler time in his youth where good was good and bad was bad, an uncomplicated place with eager rules to follow. We see a man posed for attack but curiously using a video game peripheral to do so, suggesting that he doesn't seek to damage the real world but rather the fictional one. A man surrounded by darkness where the only light in his life are his video games, a method through which he can avenge himself on the world, not through senseless destruction, but through a slowly suicidal form of escapism. His reasoning being that the best revenge is the complete rejection of reality, Jim tries but he cannot fit the whole of his misery within the 100x100 template.

Shifter desires both antiquity and anonimity.

He fears showing his true self to others, and instead hides behind a facade of old-fashioned manners and dress.

sdhonda led a simple life, swimming in frigid waters and eating tasty fish, with the occasional massive dance number. Then came the Grand Alliance between Seal and Orca, with the goal of conquering their food source and enslaving them. They destroyed his home, and killed his family. He fled to the icy wastes. While hiding from the Alliance scouts he found a sniper rifle discarded by some unknown adventurer. He took up arms. He became a artist of assassination, a legend and nightmare. The Alliance refused to believe one penguin could cause so much damage, believing a vast penguin underground was mobilizing a resistance. In time, the Alliance fell, due in no small part to the invisible killer sdhonda. His vengeance complete, he went put his rifle away forever.

Except he couldn't.

He began to accept outside contracts for his skills, not caring who was in his sights. In battling the monsters that destroyed his life, he himself became a monster. Untroubled by conscience his capacity for violence knows no bounds. The closest he come to feeling is when he is taking a life.

Mister Fiend secretly fears that the world is coming to an end at the hands (tentacles?) of the Lovecraftian monster Cthulu. He hopes that by using the monster's image as his avatar it may somehow appease the dark apparition and prevent the world's end.

Mister Fiend had a bad incident during his youth, possibly Universe related, maybe the multiverse. This experience has lead to an irrational hatred of the Universe or Universes and, possibly through lack of intervention, has found himself living between dimensions with the desire to destroy all that is, was and will be across the Universes of eternity.

Personally I blame the rap music.

Edit: Damn, I took my sweet time writing that last one, but I'll make it up and do the new above poster.

The above poster has a name that slips my mind, and this may relate to a darkness about being unknown, with the light representing his hope to be discovered, when I check back later to look up his name.

That or he just saw that image and though "That's a nice image, I'll choose that!" In which case Freudian theory says he's gay.

EnglishMQ pines for a time when all we had to worry about and the only heroes we needed were rather obscure DC comics properties transposed upon the epic animated continuities of yesteryear. He deeply embraces the blood red passion to get back to this simpler time of the 90s and 00s, as we bore into a new decade where the animated superheroes our children see on television are laughable pastiches of japanese and 1960s american culture. Also, He likes domino masks.

for the record, I disagree with freud, you just happened to be above me. Sorry for the gag.

If I was actually to analyze you based on the avatar, I think you have a curious nature, looking for enigmatic things illuminated only by the strongest of light piercing dark spaces that, although frightening and enigmatic at most times, can be stunningly beautiful. You probably like caves and water.

DO ME DO ME!

One of my favourite pasttimes is fiddling with freudian conclusions.

For example, I had a presentation on the physics of hockey, so my partner and I brought in our hockey sticks (we're canadian, I'm pretty sure EVERYONE has one, even if they don't play). Someone asked us "Why do you have hockey sticks?"

So my friend answered "we felt like being Freudian today." The person was confused until I positioned the hockey stick in such a way that it looked like a smaller version of my massive phallus.

What does that say about me?

You want to have sex with your mother.

See how easy and fun this is?

Well I was going to say you were projecting theDreamer, but you already confessed that, so I'll just say that judging by your location and very black and white Avatar, you're pure evil longing to destroy the Earth, than have sex with your Mum.
