I ... am ... EMPLOYED!

Postby Cade Antilles » 21 Jun 2010, 20:57

Mwahahahahahaaaaa!

Finally, after waaaay too long as an unemployed person, I finally have a real job again.

As long as I've been on these forums I have complained of being unemployed. Yes, that's right. I have never been employed in my entire time here, amongst you people.

What does this mean? This means that (well, firstly, I'll stop whining about being without a job) I'll have more money at hand. Which means a probable trip to PAX, which means I'll finally get to meet the crew! It also means LRR t-shirts and DVDs in my future!

Oh, and what will I be doing? I'll be a Radar Nose-cone Repair Technician. I'll be repairing and refurbishing the Radar Nose-cones for jet liners and other large aircraft.

That's awesome. I just started a new job today, too. Research Assistant (Tech 2) at the Gregory-Evans Retinal Therapeutics lab. Mostly I will do paperwork, but also lots of cell biology, animal work, and benchwork.

Congrats! Employment is awesome.

I guess that means I can take the place of unofficial unemployed memeber.

Seriously though, congrats on the job.

I'm so down with that plan.

With that type of thread title and that job, you now HAVE to use a certain line, when somebody asks "what kind of plan are we working on" you have to respond "this...is...SPARTA!" and get it on film

Congrats Cade, that's awesome. And the job seems awesome too.

(I finally found a summer job yesterday too. Fault watching a 1 million+ Euro robot placing very powerful magnets on a components for a machine that will produce microprocessors. It's awesome as most of the time I'm just sitting on my rear end reading a book. Once in a while it goes beep and I click a few buttons or call an engineer)

Jealous! But congrats :D

I know how asstastic it is being unemployed, it's reassuring to see people actually getting jobs though... that means i'll eventually get one, right... RIGHT?
