THAT. Is hilarious.

Also, totally unintentional. We figured that would be a good parody name for a station.

I guess it's times like these that movies put that blurb in the credit's saying that any names used in the film are fictitious and any similarities are coincidental

That really does sound like some tasty pie Tally and Jer are eating!

Darkest Sketch, Darkest Sketch...

Seriously, the shifts between hilarity and terror are pretty rough.

The dogs were really sad too. I can understand it in a serious film, but in a comedy? Jeez...

Wow.

I'd always thought that Dale would never really be able to top himself with that "FORTY points of acid damage!"...

...and I was gloriously, wonderfully, magnificently WRONG. :D

This. This.... I...

You know? You guys could make nine videos in a row that were totally unfunny drek, and just having a tenth one as funny and entertaining as this would totally make it worth hanging around here and devoting much of my online time. Just a 1:10 ratio of good to suck.

...so I am SO damn lucky that y'all pull out something more like the INVERSE of that ratio! That this is pretty much an *average* video for you guys!

Image

Seriously, a few L.O.L. points, but you had me grinning pretty much the entire length of the video (I'm still smiling from it now, even)

It is impossible to adequately describe how awesome you all are. I hope my humble words come close to conveying a fraction of the epicality.

Hilarious stuff. Admittedly the twist threw me, massively, but I giggled.

Reminds me a lot of my time on student radio.

My crappy, oh so crappy show was once scheduled before 'The Reggae Hour', the team behind which I had never met. Come the first show of the season I signed off and handed over to two very polite, very white (much like myself) chaps who then proceeded to churn out some of the fastest, most hardcore reggae beats you could imagine... all while doing the accent.

I swear the first song had a lyric: "Kill All De White Men."

Sometimes having no listeners is a lifesaver.

Great video though. Did Dale have to resort to Jagermeister to sustain his voice?

Great video. The stinger was my favourite part; I liked how Dale said "Devil" at the end. His voice in general made this video.

Thanks for the kind words, all!

Thanks, it was nice to be on again! :)

That was my own devil voice.

Thanks, Lorithad. You're not wrong.

You are most kind, empath! I'm happy to be recognized for cH, but it's also good to do new stuff.

FAKE? These people strive for verisimilitude in all things. That was as real as Panducken!

I keep trying to watch the video, but it won't load. And when I click high quality so I can have a different link, The Escapist wants me to pay them 20 bucks. So screw them. Guess i won't watch.

The visuals on this video was amazing. The way Dale's face changed was seamless. Worthy of a lot of pro FX houses. How much of that was lighting vs digital help?

This vid worked especially well for me, because my local 106.7 just recently reformatted from something I liked to "the most mediocre of the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's". Also great to have Dale on.

To those missing acid-damage jokes: watch the relevant Hustle. These are new jokes, and have given us the Panducken!

As meta as that would be I'm pretty sure that that's out of the FM band range.

You would be correct, the FM broadcasting band only goes up to 108MHz, and the OIRT and Japanese bands have even lower upper limits (74 and 90MHz respectively).

Plenty of good stuff, lots of neat little twists along the way leading up to the bigun', but I agree that the video didn't flow quite as well as it could have. One or two lines were a bit straightforward or obvious. What radio station has spots explicitly advertising its own craptitude? Does The Drive have some kind of self-image problem?

Regardless, good to hear the Dale Voice once again, nice visual effects and a good amount of genuine funny.

The EXACT same thing just happened in Harrisburg. Our local 106.7 switched from a really good 70s/80s mix to a 90s/2Ks Pop format.

So, basically, stay away from the 106.7 frequency.
