Rapidfire 5
Welcome to the final chapter in the epic tour-de-force that is Rapidfire. There was laughter, there were tears, and maybe we all learned some valuable lessons.
Don't worry, it is entirely possible that there will be new Rapidfire in the future, but probably with all new characters and maybe a few new jokes.

first post ftw!
That one was pretty good. The Steve Clark bit worked at the beginning and end, but in the middle I coulnd't tell what he was supposed to be saying...there was nothing like "snow" being "semen".
But good one! Except for the detective scene, you could hear the wind on the mics. Otherwise good

Same here.
Also, I've been wondering... Since Rapidfire straddles two seasons, will four of them be on the Season 3 DVD and episode five be on the Season 4 DVD?
Gotta ditto Tensen01's comments - the filthy-mouthed reporter just didn't come through as well. Graham's expression was awesome, though. Were Paul's clips really necessary? The video seemed plenty long without them, and they were shots we'd already seen. Seeing more of Paul is nice, of course.
"Riley and Rodriguez" and the Learning thing really made the video. Poor Johnny...

Maybe I'm just not in the right mood, but this one just didn't "do it for me" this time around. The re-use of the book scenes surprised and annoyed me. I also didn't really like the explanations either - the previous ones were much more silly, and this one actually made sense, which is bad. (Lint = porn was good, but Fruit = Fox is bad because it's true.)
Besides that, the ASS bit was awesome. Good job acting distracted from the moment you saw it. The Detective was good as usual, but it's getting just a tad old. It's just starting to feel the same as the others. Most of the segments need new gags.
I think the main thing that was missing was an overarching plot, like Phat Beets or the clown, which both made me laugh loudly. I know I haven't exactly been kind to this one, but since I usually love your stuff, I think I should speak my mind, even when it's negative.
Anyway, I have faith. I forgive you for this one because of Sound Wars. Here's to LRR having a long and happy life!

I'm not really a big fan of any of the rapidfires, I have to admit...it really just feels like the exact same plots over and over again. In the case of this video, as has been previously mentioned by other forum-ers, some of it actually was the same joke again (the children's stories w/ Paul). I find them all a little boring, to be perfectly honest.
That being said, Graham that was spectacular acting in the Antiques Street Show. Subtle, but not too subtle.
Also, kudos for even having an update, what with the snow, and then the slush, and then the more snow, and then the freezingness, and then the ice, and then the slush, and then the rain, and then the. . .

Hooray! A new Rapidfire episode!!!
Uh... but ...
I'm all for recycling and everything...
And being thrify is good...
But.. uh.. can you guys pool yer cash to buy Paul a new storybook?
Other than that, I thought it was great.
I was so hoping the guy Graham was instructing in the first clip would've picked up the orange juice at the end and deliver the ultimate punchline saying:
"But I thought you said the orange juice was the internet..."
That would've rocked!
Or if someone brought the antique street show guy the inflatable lemming to inspect and he didn't even look up and just said "Get out."
All in all, Rapidfire SHOULD continue so as to be a kind of "dumping ground" (or "clearing house" or whatever -choose your own metaphor) for all those quick bits that just can't be made into or part of full length eps.
Snow or no snow, keep up the great work!

Definetly my favourite rapid fire yet.
Laughed at the "you ate Bill O'Riley?", and always love the reporter skits like at the end (mmm, dirty jokes ).
Most surprising part that nearly had me laugh aloud was when Dana stuffed the money casually into her shirt. Was quite surprised by that.
Of note, the first reporter (Johnny?) seemed to only come through my left speaker.
Kudos, and looking forward to the LRRcast.

Until the end of that skit, I thought Graham was stuttering b/c he was was staring at her cleavage and that he was gonna give her the $700 for the cup b/c of that.

Yep, that's how it played for me.
