Zombie Nation Challenge + Worst Fanfic Ever

Hey, it's me, long time no see. I'm taking on the Zombie Nation challenge, AND reading My Immortal, the worst fanfic ever, AT THE SAME TIME. For this guy who risked bodily harm to save a total stranger, and now has a $4,000 hospital fine. So I'm raising money for him by doing this thing. If you donate any money of at least 50 cents, I will do a challenge! You know the drill!

For *amusing* fanfics, I'd recommend The Metroid Conspircy: Pasts of the Sin.

There are many fanfics that are at least at the level of EU novels for most franchises (sometimes better). Most popular franchises have at least one major fanfic series of reasonable quality. Firefly has Forward, Harry Potter has Dumbledore's Army, and Command and Conquer has Tiberium Wars, for example. According to TVTropes at least, those three are all of fairly high quality. The Star Wars EU is essentially published fanfic, with all the range in quality that entails.

The terrible ones tend to be more amusing for those not interested in fanfic though.

the starwars EU novels do have a spatering of quality control though there are some real turds. I'm looking at you crystal star.
