Man Cooking

Postby Graham » 12 Dec 2006, 09:42

He didn't use the clip where I say this (because he fears the truth) but this video was basically motivation for Morgan to make burritos and clean the kitchen.
Which, for the record, I am 100% behind.

Also, it is v-dot-funny.

Funny story, that was Bill's hand holding the beer for the "cheers" bit.
Then he went to a concert.

Thats too bad Bill left. He is the eating king. Also, I don't believe most of what Morgan was saying.

Shouldn't Morgan know the danger of cigars. I know the original was dangers of cigerettes but come on it still applies.

Morgan, that is some awesome cookery. I myself specialize in a form of cuisine known as "bachelor-chow," which is basically defined as congealed awesome in edible form. Even being on the same block as me when I create it gives you a permanent +2 bonus to your awesome. Its my way of giving back to the community.

But I am ashamed to say I have never refried my own beans. Kudos to you.

Here is my donated Haiku:

Zombies all around,
Door barred, guns and chicks inside.
Never been this hard.
All hail the great deku tree!

Cigars are manly. Cigarettes are a filthy habit.

You're all too fucking awesome for this.

I want to counter by demonstrating how to make that gut-busting sandwich from G33K. XD

New years eve without a cigar is quite unthinkable to me.

i smoke cigars on three occasions each year: james' birthday, matt's birthday and my birthday. the health consequences of three cigars per year is pretty negligible.

Do you always add JD to your meat when cooking?

It was Bill's idea. You can tell Morgan isn't really committing to it as he pours.
Basically, it's not standard operating procedure.
For one thing, it would be really expensive.

I have a question-

WHO LIVES WITH WHO? Everyone now. ANSWER!

Also- Morgan, did you read the haiku correctly? Morgan Wants a Haiku is six syllables.

Man. That was some manly cooking.

Except for the Captain Planet reference. That made me laugh so hard, that I cried. And crying isn't manly.
Who?

New rule, no tiny text smaller that 9.
Sorry, it's god damned annoying to increase my browser's text size every time.
(Not lashing out at you dude, this applies to everyone, you just happened to do it most recently)

In answer to your question, Bill, Morgan and I live together.

Okay, officially that's the best WT ever. My face is still red from when Morgan read my haiku (Oh, and the first line was suppose to be "Morgan wants haikus", but I don't care that you fudged it a little)

I was laughing so hard that my sides hurt throughout the whole video, and I actually had to pause to catch my breath after Morgan said that he had a metric fuckton of spicy beef. That's GOLD right there.

Awesome job, guys

Whenever I say I have a metric fuckton of something, people give me odd looks. The same sort of looks I get when I comment that a baby looks particularly fresh. Hmm...

Hahahaha, good stuff.

The "manly" voice was awesome.

That actually looked like a pretty good burrito, minus the mushrooms. Hmmm... and it'm my night to cook tonight....

The onions were gold. I seriously cannot cut onions, i die.

And I loved the note on the whiteboard at the end "This is dirty, clean it"

Only small complaint, when you guys were eating at the end I couldn't hear what you were saying even with my volume turned all the way up.

Discarding the fluids in which the beans have been soaking will eliminate many of the indigestible starches that give them their bad reputation. Mere cleaning isn't sufficient.

Also, hooray for spices!

We drained them, and then washed them.
How would we wash them without draining them anyway?

Guys,

What's up with your burrito recipe??? It must be a Canadian burrito, because real burritos don't involve Louisiana hot sauce, mushrooms or shallots. A real burrito (Texas style, that is) has jalepeno peppers, hot (not mild) salsa, onions and refried beans are best made from pinto beans cooked all day on the back of the stove. Oh, and lots of cheese....also with jalepenos. Also, where was the chili powder? Rosemary, was this a gourmet burrito?? I love you guys, but you still have some learning to do on the man cooking thing. Unless it eats the spoon your stirring with, you are making burritos like, well for lack of a better expression, girlie men.
I did laugh till my sides hurt, you guys are great.
Love, Sandy

The single BEST line in this.. It isnt cause it's funny, it's because how damned well Morgan said it.

"Real men cut onions fuckin fast."

Can i possibly get a wav/mp3 of that for my windows boot sound? XD[/list]
