For the longest time, I couldn't figure out why all sorts of things had "EZed" in front of them. Like, a particular forum I belonged to was named "EZ Boards" -- and it took me 2 years of being a member to finally figure out why it was called as such. Definately a turning point in my life. :P

Great skit, guys. Loved it in LRL, and I love it now!

OMFG THE SONG IS NOT THE DEFINITIVE SOURCE ON IT.

Someone actually posted its history further back. "Zee" is another example of early Americans trying to be less British. Like spelling "colour" without a "U".

I can't tell if he answered my joke with a joke, or not. So I'll just clarify now: I was joking ;) Canadians can do what they want, it's their country.

Or "cr3umpet" without the '3'.

But the warning that you're usually joking when you talk in all-caps was written in all-caps.

All Cretans are croutons.

I vote more LRL sketches should be filmed and put on the site. :D

Like the song I wrote.

This .....in england....thing....who started that? Wast you, graham? or wast sarah and you copied it? cos I'm waaaay out of the loop not having been able to watch videos the week they come out for about 4 weeks. Loved 'one of us has to change' btw. i almost shit myself all over the spanish lab (which would have been a bit wrong. I'm not even sposed to be in here.)
Anyway you should all bow down to the genius that is the inventor of Marmite. If he can get anyone to pay money for it, given how it tastes, he must have the mind of some kind of god.

It was in the whatever videos. I'm not sure if it was Graham or Morgan pretending to be Graham who started it... suffice to say, they were pretending to be british.

In "Retrovirus", Graham adopted a stuffy accent when he read the words of the research scientist. Then in "Panda Porn", Graham took on a similar voice in humorous response to the excesses of the zealous campus policeman.

That is the origin of the Englishness joke - Graham said that choking students and shooting the homeless was how he spent his Sunday afternoons - "in England".

Melendwyr's got it.

It was my way of pointing out how obviously English I was. Cause I was being so English...

Englishness is measured by many things, but the most important are:
-love of fish and chips/chicken tikka masala/marmite (delete as appropriate)
-obsession with football - that's real football, not anyone else's weird spots by the same name;
-supporting underdogs
-imperial oppression
-irrational fear of foreign hordes
-AND BEING ABLE TO MAKE TEA.

If you can't make tea you must be foriegn....i.e. not....in england. :P

I make a damn fine pot of tea, I adore fish and chips, love the World Cup, I would say I generally like underdogs (mostly just the dog part, but still!) and I definitely have an irrational fear of foreign hordes.

Does that make me english? That would be pretty sweet if that was all the citizenship exam involved.

As a note Andy, I think your song should be saved for the DVD. Though it is ABSOLUTELY brilliant, it doesn't really make sense to put it up on the site when you think about some of the lyrics...
