I need more friends.
By the way, are Miis sent automatically when you add each other, or do you have to manually send them via the Mii channel? I suppose I could read the manual....
you have to send them manually.
LRR crew! did you recieve my invite?

The friend code system is kinda crummy in that you don't get actual invitations (except if you try to add an email address). In order to communicate with other people, you must add them and they must add you, but no notification is sent either way. You only know it was successful when their name is no longer "greyed out" in your address book.
That said, I added you and Graham to my list this evening.

It's the same way on the DS. I think that's just how nintendo likes to do it to keep it personal; though, i agree, it is a little bummy

Err. . . There is no "Crew Wii Number". We have all created Miis for ourselves though, and traded them around our various Wiis. G is giving his own number there, and he was noting that he has the set.
. . . if Nintendo had provided us with a "staff Wii" like the one PA got, that would have been rad, but sadly no soup for us.
Also, it takes somewhere in the neighbourhood of four hours for people to show up on each others' lists after typing in each others' friend codes . . . so be patient .

It's basically an avatar you can design to look like you. You can exchange them online with people if you add them to your friend list and they add you.

You kids and your Wiis!
I'm hoping to pick one up in a few months, after I get done with moving and the start of the new semester, but I'll have to see what my cash situation is like.
