Postby gcninja » 07 Oct 2010, 23:05

So i found something on the escapist forums that your people might like, its a thing to calculate the worth of your account
http://www.steamcalculator.com/

Mine came out to $174.90 USD (MORE THAN YOURS KK!)

So post what you think of this and how much yours is worth.

$485.63 USD

Oh wow, that much?! Although, I think a lot of it comes from the Source pack and Orange Box. Still have HL2 and Ep1 sitting there waiting to be given away.

$1510 Image

Most of the stuff was on sale and almost all of the prices are off on the calcamagig compared to when I bought them.
I've kept Gabe Newell stocked with quite a lot of honey baked ham at least.

yeah I'm sure I didn't pay more than a 3rd of the actual price, but still it's kinda nuts how many games just about any steam user owns, hell i haven't even installed half of them.

Yes, I know I'm a longtime, old-school gamer, but 1970? I wouldn't have been born for about a year-and-a-half. :D

$1589.93 USD since 2004 apparently. For some reason it hasn't counted all my games though - Arma2 is missing, for example. According to the numbers it hasn't counted 18 games, but I can't be bothered to work out which others (out of 126) are missing at the moment.

As with everyone else, a good number of Steam super-specials involved there.

I don't actually own a lot of games for PC. My PC is not very powerful, so I can't run everything.

EDIT: For whatever reason, I can't find my own name...

$1140.11 and apparently it missed 30 of my games. Odd. Ah well. I paid maybe a total of 250-300 for my steam games. Probably slightly more, then again I have had my account for 5 years.

Many of the games I got in bundles or on sale. But still this little thing is pretty awesome.

empath, try logging in and doing it. It does it quite frequently and that sometimes fixes it. Also, steam not being perfect these do tend to be off a bit. And kingkool i found you (i think at least)

Yeah, there's always an exception - it's usually me. ;) I was logged in the entire time I was trying this (I don't have a custom URL for my profile, so I had to bring up my profile in Steam (and then in browser) to get the UID# that SteamCalculator needs.

*shrug* Oh, well.

Over £800 apparently. But I've probably only spent 1/4 of that thanks to Steam's sales.

Looking through there, it doesn't seem to be able to pick up games that you've brought separately then added the CD-Key to steam. It's missing maybe 10 games for me.

Except it picked up Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and that was a CD key game, although I did download it again through Steam rather than using the disc, so that might be why it recognised it...
